I woke up early the next morning like I normally do, and found Temari still sleeping. So I made some leftovers for breakfast, and gathered supplies for the mission. By the time I had finished with all that Temari had dragged herself out of bed, looking like some sort of creature out of hell. Well, she's not a morning person. Temari went straight for the bathroom, and I did some last minute mission preparations.

Temari comes out of the bathroom after what sounded like a quick shower, with her hair still shimmering wet. Damn she's hot! "Alright, I'll grab my gear and then we'll get going. Got any food we can munch on on the way?" Temari says, flipping her hair.

"Yeah, I'll prep a go bag for you." I say, and Temari nods and goes to gather her stuff. She comes out a couple minutes later and I toss her the bag before we start towards the village gates. As we did we chatted about various things like our interests and training methods. It turned out that we have a lot in common. We arrived at the village gates shortly afterward. We were the first ones to arrive, which wasn't very surprising.

Temari suddenly turned to me and said, "You know, Your teacher wasn't entirely wrong last night."

"Oh? How so?" Temari opened her mouth to reply when Hinata and Nikki both arrived at the gates.

Nikki pretty much ran in between us and waved back at us, "Come on! Let's get going!"

Temari sighed, and apparently forgetting the conversation, walked down the road following Nikki and calling, "Don't get too far! You still don't know where we're going!"

Hinata walked up behind me and said, "Were you waiting long, uhm. I didn't mean to make you wait."

I laughed, "Don't worry about it. We only just arrived before you did. Let's go, if we don't get moving Nikki will probably get lost or run into some trouble."

Hinata smiled, "Yeah that would be like her. Let's go." We began our journey, and although Nikki wasn't happy about it, Temari took the lead and said it would take at least 2 days to reach the hidden sand. We ran almost nonstop for most of the day, with Temari in the lead followed by Nikki and with me and Hinata bringing up the rear.

After a while Hinata looked at me and said, "Uhm Y/n, once this mission is over and we're back at the hidden leaf do you have any plans?"

"Hinata, are you asking me out on a date?" I ask her, and watch as she turns neon red and respond with,

"Aaaah, no. I was just curious if you needed any help with your training. Since you always train alone and all I was thinking I could give you a hand."

I laugh, "Yeah ok. I wouldn't mind some help training. I'll let you know when I go to train next."

Hinata, still blushing, responds with a smile, "Ok!" Then she runs up a little farther leaving me to my thoughts. A couple hours later we stopped and set up camp for the night.

We all got settled in fairly quickly, and since there was still a little bit of daylight left we all chatted about various things.
