There she is, racing through the woodland, Julie from the prom she went to earlier. Her gorgeous clothing is now ripped in some places and covered with filth, and she is strolling barefoot in the pitch-black downpour.

She may not recognize the three young guys pursuing her, but she has never forgotten their faces. She promises to go to the police station and file charges as soon as she manages to get away. She is going to make them suffer the fear that she is experiencing.

If she manages to get away, that is..

"Jullliiaa!!" yelled by one of the boys. "Stop running and give yourself to us already!!"

The other exclaimed, "We're coming, Julia!" Every time they call on her, she can hear their voices getting louder and clearer, and she begins to comprehend how quickly they are catching up.

As she ran and struggled to keep from stumbling due to the dark path and the wet ground, she sobbed and prayed.

God please have pity on me...

She found a small hole where she could hide until the sun came out as she continued to explore the forest's depths. After crawling into the hole, she tries to keep silent. She hoped and prayed that the boys would eventually grow weary of looking and give up. She finally stopped hearing things, which helped to calm her down a little. She gave it more time, but when the rain started to stop, all she could hear were crickets, so she went to sleep.

She noticed that there was light coming from the hole opening when she woke up. It's morning already; there's light. She emerges from the hole, hoping nothing will hurt her. Nothing indicated what had happened that evening when she looked around. That's when she broke down in tears because she was alive.

Good Heavens..

As she made her way out of the forest, she noticed some police officers and locals were causing a disturbance a short distance ahead of her. She ran to them, sobbing, pleading for aid, but nobody even looked her way. They seem to be encircling something, she noticed.

"What a pity? This girl died young." Said a woman behind her.

"Where are her parents? They must be devastated, but who are they going to blame? They are careless." said the other woman beside her. "Kids nowadays are too wild that they ended up like this.. that's why I'll never leave my child alone. Their minds are still young and clouded that this might happened when they aren't attended to."

Julie heard the two women talking about a girl, but she didn't know why her heart was racing. Because the boys didn't have her, she started to get suspicious that they might have picked up another victim that evening. After navigating through the small group of people, she approaches the victim and nearly passes out from terror.

A girl with her legs spread wide and nude caught her attention. She's bathing in her own blood because she is bleeding on her head. Julia recognizes the girl as frighteningly familiar, even though her hair obscures her face and prevents her from being recognized. Maybe a classmate.. I'm sorry.

She felt a little relieved that she had lived, but she also felt bad that someone else had to endure what she should have. However, she suddenly recognized the three boys' faces as they tried to play with her while taking her through the forest. She will never forget those expressions; it is they, not her, who ought to feel bad.

"Julliiiiaaa!!" shouted a man from afar. She immediately turn her head and saw her father running towards her direction.

Her eyes welled up with tears as her heart began to race with fear once more. She wants to tell her father what they've done to her and feel safe in his arms again, so she runs to him with her arms wide open. She was startled, though, when her father simply walked by her as she got closer. Walk literally past her body. Her tears then start to fall like rain, which she was no longer able to control.

This can't be real..

When she turned around, she witnessed his father's breakdown as he embraced the woman's icy body. Her icy physique. Her chest felt heavier and more constricted as a result of his cries and shouts of despair. Gradually, her mind fills with flashbacks and memories from the previous night...

They have seen her, they have forced her to come out of hiding, and they did not stop raping her until they are satisfied. They poke fun at her nude body in turn. Their final act left her to bleed to death after smashing her head with a large rock following all of the abuse.

And that's how the rape and murder case of Julianne Santos came to be.
