Nathan's story (an error #53 story)

chapter 1: error #53

In the kingdom of kalfold there lived a brave warrior by the name of Nathan and one day he was called by the king to his castle so he started his journey out of his house and toward the castle and brought his sword as instructed by the king in his letter on the way there he talked to two villagers who only wore red shorts and had beedy eyes like rats to nathan’s surprise the first one said “ERROR #53 unknown” which didn’t feel right with nathan but continued on and the second one simply said “greetings friend” and nathan returned the greeting then finally he made it to the castle where the king was standing in front of while a knight was standing on the balcony and nathan went up to the king who said upon his arrival “i’m so glad you're here because i have a quest for you,you see that nasty old jack (a person who has a jack o lantern for head and a pumpkin body) has been sneaking into our village with his henchmen to steal our gold again,defeat jack and his henchmen and get our gold back your reward will be great!”

As such nathan went through the mountain range (which is the way to jack) to get the gold back for the king,when he entered a clear path there was henchmen already waiting for him as such they charged at him but when nathan took only a single stab at their stomach they died immediately this continued as he pressed on until he found jack and a small army of henchmen waiting for him at a round mountain range and jack said with a boast “muahahaha this will be FUN!!!” but this wasn’t a challenge for Nathan but he still said while killing the henchmen “take that for my king! Take that for lady sisally! Take that for little billy! You henchmen killing all the villagers!” and when there was only him and jack left he approached jack slowly and asked “you got attacks up your sleeves?” but right as nathan was gonna take a swing at jack,jack turned into necromorph and disappeared and the entire mountain range became all dark and black,like the sky was black and cloudy but despite this sorta scaring nathan he kept both his strong and his guard up and made his way back to his village to tell the king that jack transformed and got away most likely with the gold because it was nowhere to be found but on the way back in the middle of a patch of path stood something that wasn’t there before it was an alien like creature who seemed to be female because it  had the body and stature of a little girl but her eyes were blue,green and yellow,her skin was white and grey and she didn’t move at all

Nathan attempted to speak with her but she never responded to any of his questions so nathan reasonably assumed she was a statue that somebody planted there so he continued on with his journey back but halfway back all the colours on everything changed the grass was purple,the sky and paths were black and the trees were black and white and the were more trees everywhere and instead of the normal wind and bird chirping sounds in the background there was sound which sounded like a police phone call but what they were saying on that call was unintelligible nevertheless nathan persisted despite all that has happened after a long walk back nathan finally made it back to the village but it was different then he remembered for instance there was houses which were either all brightly coloured pink or that were a combination of weird colours along with the villagers now being different some now being gingerbread men others being floating limbless versions of that alien statue from earlier and at the far side of the kingdom was one of the king’s knights but now she was gigantic but still standing still as if awaiting her next command and at long last he finally made it back to the castle expecting the king to still be standing in front of it

But in reality the king was laying down and floating in front of the castle at first nathan thought the king’s beslayeth but he was still moving and nathan didn’t notice this earlier but he was holding his sword upside down and allowing its blade to grind across the floor but he still made his way to the king who said upon nathan’s arrival “good job you defeated jack and his henchmen!” but there was a problem with that statement because nathan never defeated jack only his henchmen then the king said “ERROR #53 unknown” then repeated the quest he gave nathan when he went to go defeat jack then the king started saying “DEATH_DEATH_DEATH_DEATH” over and over nathan decided to was time for him to go so he started making his way elsewhere but then out of nowhere the distorted face of the alien statue appeared but she had black eyes and her mouth was wide open which let out a blood curdling scream that actually caused nathan to scream himself until he found himself at a small place which had black walls and floors but the floor had a white quadrat painted on it so you can identify it and in front of nathan was three of the alien statues but all three of them were moving towards him without moving a single limb and behind them was a familiar sight it was the necromorph jack turned into and he was also approaching without moving a limb,nathan started running for his life terrified of what would happen if they came in contact with him but eventually he started losing his breath and ended up being cornered by the four and they started closing in until one of them came in contact with him but when he opened his eyes he found himself outside a small house in the middle of the night but it looked like nowhere he’s ever been then nathan found a half note taped to his shoulder which read “your th-”
