Long time after escaping to Earth, Spectra, a young cybertronian whose parents and brother were deceased, realized that Tarn, the only cybertronian who cared about her the most, died and could never join her again. And so she had to survive on her own and decided to avoid anyone as much as possible.
However, when infiltrating the Nemesis in order to retrieve a green shard of Energon she gave to Tarn long ago, she discovered the latter's corpse inside the ship, but didn't know why it was there. After fleeing from the Nemesis, she re-encountered Grindor, her arch-nemesis and the one who ate her parent's corpses after Megatron killed them.
However, Team Prime arrived and fought Grindor, and it resulted in Spectra falling into a mine. When she walked through it, she discovered Tarn, but soon realized that he was possessed by Dark Energon. After a fight, Spectra accidentally planted the green shard of Energon she carried into Tarn, said move deactivated him.
When Megatron arrived, thinking that Tarn had died, he tried to shoot Spectra. But Tarn, who was in fact still alive and now back to his old self, protected her. Now, both of them are together again
Who knows what kind of adventure awaits them?
