Proposals

"Are you sure she's not dead?" Tarn asks

"Fix It would know it." Bumblebee answers, "I'm actually impressed that you rescued her."

"Thanks, now, shall we explain our proposal?"

"Go on."

Spectra clears her throat.

"We're here to ask if we can be your temporary allies."

Most of the Autobots are surprised. Spectra explains.

"While there are still Decepticons on Earth, we'll help you with your mission. And when it's done, you return to Cybertron but we stay here."

"Are you sure you're able to stay away from humans?" Strongarm asks

"Prove us we can't." Nickel replies.

"Alright, alright! I got it." Bumblebee says, calming things down, "I accept your proposal. I wonder who else would come up with such a proposal."

Right after that, a voice resonates from the scrapyard's door. "Grindor does." Everyone (except Windblade, of course, who is in stasis in order to be better healed) looks where the voice came from, and there is Grindor, his eyes glowing blue and holding a black box in his hand.

"You!" Spectra and Bumblebee shout at the same time they prepare their weapons. The rest are surprised.

"Grindor?!" Strongarm doesn't believe her eyes, "Wait. Grindor himself?!"

"Himself." The mad scientist answers.

"Wasn't he dead?" Drift doesn't understand.

"First:" Grindor corrects, "No, he wasn't. He faked his death in the most perfect manner. So perfect that he wouldn't be able to see someone do better than him. Second: Bumblebee, you were asking if someone else would come up with such a proposal. Well, Grindor does."

"What do you want?" Bumblebee questions.

"You leave Grindor in peace, and he won't bother you. He'll explain; you see that box?" He shows the box, "This is where Grindor contains his laboratories through a complex operation. You leave him alone, and he'll stay on Earth, away from you and those good-for-nothing humans, where no one can find him."

"How can we be sure you tell no lies?" Spectra interrogates, mistrustful of the scientist.

"You would all be dead by the time it is." Grindor assures, "Anyways, Grindor will take that as "yes". Goodbye"

He prepares to fly away, but before doing so, he speaks one last time.

"If ever you're asking yourselves why his eyes are glowing blue, it's because Grindor likes to change them the color he wants." He transforms and flies away, until he isn't seen anymore.

"Wow." Sideswipe comments, "That was pretty confusing." He finishes at the same time another voice resonates behind the team.

"Excuse me." Everyone turns to see who it is (again!). There stands Bludgeon.

"Wait, first Grindor. Now, Bludgeon. Who's next?" Sideswipe is even more confusing.

Bludgeon is silent, and launches a microbot to the computer, the microbot hijacking it. A groundBridge appears next to the Decepticon master. As he prepares to walk to the portal, Bumblebee asks;

"Where are you going?"

The master of Metallikato spits out his last words before crossing the portals:

"日本へ、友よ。*"

The portal closes itself.

*Pronounce "Nihon e, tomoyo."
