Ram's POV:
Ram could hardly believe his fortune!
They made it! He and Bheem survived!
Sure, the consequences would come back to hit him in the face in the future, but for now he was happy!
More like fucking euphoric!Their first order of business was to take Malli home, and then ship the weapons to Ram's hometown.
He was finally getting a chance to return home!
After nearly a decade of being away from his village, he could finally go back!
Bheem was torn between accompanying Ram and escorting Malli home safe and sound.
Ram wished he could go with Bheem. Unfortunately, the guns had to be delivered soon or else the British government might quickly confiscate them.
In the end, they both promised to meet as soon as their respective jobs were done.
Ram hired a boat and set off to Visakhapatnam with Sita by his side. They had a Hero's welcome. His people were beyond grateful that he had finally fulfilled his oath. Tears were shed and there were joyful reunions with long lost families and friends.
A couple of days later, Ram was lounging by the lake skipping stones in the water.
Ram was seriously on the top of the whole world! Nobody could possibly bring him down!
This situation would be much better if he had a certain someone by his side.
Ram let out a forlorn sigh. He would love to visit Bheem. A week had passed since they parted ways. Would it be too forward of him to go search for his love?
"You're such a coward, Ram!"
Ram frowned at the voice but didn't bother looking at the person who uttered those words.
"Need I remind you of the man who spent nearly 2 decades undercover in the enemy's stronghold?" he drawled as he continued to fling stones across the water surface.
A rock hit him in the back.
"Sita!" he bellowed in annoyance.
"What the hell?"Sita stood with her hands on her hips, glaring at him.
"I've had enough of your moping! You've done your job. Nobody expects anything more from you now. Everyone in the village is perfectly capable of defending themselves. So why are lazying about here? Why aren't you going after Bheem?" she yelled at him.
Ram ran his fingers through his hair. How was he going to answer this question?
"Is it not too soon? Should I not give him some time to settle down with his family before barging in like an interloper?"
Sita punched him in the arm.
"Thank goodness, I'm not married to you! You're so violent!" Ram cried, rubbing his arm theatrically.
"Thank God, I'm not married to a fucking dense idiot! Bheem loves you! He risked his life to save yours! Do you know how he leapt forward in the middle of the night to save your stupid ass! I tried to hold him back and make him have a solid plan before rescuing you! Both of you are bullheaded dumbasses who deserve each other," Sita concluded with a dainty sniff.
Ram chuckled at her rant. His love rescued him from the pits of Tartarus! Just thinking of their grand escape made him smile!
"Enough daydreaming, lover boy! Go and get your man!" Sita's voice broke through his memories.
Ram shot her a sheepish smile.
"What would I do without you?" he asked, picking her up and swinging her around in his arms, making her squeal."Put me down, you big incorrigible caveman!" she shrieked, but also laughed along with him.
