The week leading up to the mission was uneventful for the most part. You trained more with Nanami, now actually memorizing moves with your pole and even being able to use your technique a bit more often. You were feeling more confident in your abilities now. You were coming into your own and that made you feel a bit less weight on your mind. Now the only thing really weighting on your mind, was how this mission with Gojo was going to turn out. Since Saturday you'd seen him a handful of times.
Before, he would simply wave your way when you crossed paths. Now every time you passed him he pulled his blindfold down to meet your gaze or wink at you. Making you just as lost as you were when you had first seen Gojo's eyes. Which you had to admit, made you curious about him. Gojo always walked around proclaiming he was the strongest. You'd never sparred with Gojo like you did with Nanami, and all you ever saw was him destroy the curse in your old apartment and considering how weak the curse was, it was still hard for you to envision Gojo as this gifted sorcerer. The only clue you had was what Nanami had told you, Gojo had inherited this special technique which made him more powerful than many of the sorcerers alive today.
"You just have to see it, and you'll understand." Was the last he said of it before giving you a warning. "But remember, Gojo is still Gojo. He's always up to something."
That's what you tried to keep in mind as you sat at your desk along with the others waiting for your assignments. Nobara was going on about a new store that was opening up on the shopping district main street when Nanami and Gojo entered the classroom together. Gojo took his place leaning against the blackboard smirking as Nanami cleared his throat to speak.
"Listen up, you're all aware we're going on Missions today. I'm going to give you your locations and your Teams. First Team; Myself & Itadori we'll be heading to Shibuya Hospital. Second Team; Megumi & Nobara you'll be headed to Roppongi Old Town. Last Team; Y/N & Gojo, you'll be headed to Shinjuku Warehouse District. These curses have been causing trouble but shouldn't be too much for anyone to handle with a partner. Remember what we've taught you and be careful. "Nanami gazed to you as he finished. "Understood?"
Nodding Nanami's way he concluded. "Grab your file on the way out. Dismissed." Lifting yourself from your seat you grabbed your bag.
"Y/N." Nanami had made his way over to you and handed you your file. "You're going to be the only responsible one on this mission so I'll give this to you. Read it before you reach the location. You'll find some interesting information that may help you."
"Thank you Sensei. " You smiled, tucking the file in your bag. Nanami turned to leave with Itadori before he stopped and looked back at you his face a tad flushed. "And.. be careful."
You were going to say. "You Too." but He left quickly with Itadori before you could. Huh.. Okay then. You thought to yourself. What was that about? As you stood a tad confused, Gojo pushed himself off the black board and made his way to you.
