I sigh as I finally get up out of one of the landing pods chairs, swishing my reattached tail around, before grabbing the emptied syringe on the end.

I decided against putting the Nanites into the syringe, as I could cause more harm, so I kept them in a glass vile attached to the inside of my jacket.

I did one spin, checking out my handiwork, then I hear a crash outside.
I freeze and look up towards the landing pods exit, debating if I should check it out or not.
I eventually decided to check it out.

I climbed up the ladder, and poked my head outside.
What I saw was kind of concerning.
N was just laying flat on the snowy ground, all his limbs flung everywhere.

I stifled a laugh, and ran out to check on him.
The moment I reach him, I kicked snow at his head.

' 𝙰 𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙳𝙴𝙰𝚃𝙷 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝚁𝙼- ' He screeched, immediately sitting up and glaring at me.

' 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚜𝚔𝚎𝚍 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚒𝚝 𝚋𝚢 𝚕𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚐𝚞𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝚍𝚘𝚠𝚗 𝙷𝚞𝚗 ' I snickered.

' 𝙸 𝙵𝙴𝙻𝙻 ' Was all N answered with.

' 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚑, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚕𝚜𝚘 𝚍𝚒𝚍𝚗𝚝 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚕𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚘𝚗 𝚖𝚢 𝙰𝙼𝙰𝚉𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝚗𝚎𝚠 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔 ' I said, spinning around then plopping myself on the snowy ground beside him.

He seemed confused until he saw my tail swishing in the snow behind me.
He immediately ran over to pull on it, seeing if it would come off.
I whimpered as I shooed him away.

' 𝙼𝚊𝚗, 𝚗𝚘 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚌𝚝 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚎𝚕𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚕𝚢 ' I said with obvious sarcasm, as I pulled my tail close to my chest and gave him a hard stare.

' 𝚂𝙾𝚁𝚁𝚈, 𝚂𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢, 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚒𝚏 𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚏𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚍... ' He stared at my tail in wonder, then trailed his eyes, scanning every bit of my body. (I swear N is innocent u just got a design upgrade 🫵😼)

' 𝚆𝚘𝚠, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜, 𝚋𝚢 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏? ' he asked in awe.

' 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚢 𝚖𝚞𝚌𝚑. ' you stated, drawing small blueprints in the snow next to you.

' 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚜 𝚜𝚘 𝚌𝚘𝚘𝚕!! ' N remarked, still staring at me.

' 𝚈𝚎𝚜 𝚢𝚎𝚜, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚕𝚞𝚟? 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚒𝚝𝚜 𝚛𝚞𝚍𝚎... ' I said, teasing him.

' 𝚂𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢... 𝚂𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢... ' He muttered, dropping his gaze to the ground.

' 𝚒𝚖 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚓𝚘𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝚑𝚞𝚗! ' I said, poking his visor.

He looked relived i wasn't being serious and looked back up at me.
He suddenly leaned forward, petting my head.

' 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 𝚏𝚕𝚞𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚎𝚛 𝚑𝚊𝚒𝚛?... ' He muttered.
