"please, father!" you begged one last time, gripping your tattered shirt so your anger wouldn't get the best of you. "rethink about the wedding! i don't want to marry him."
you looked up at your father with tears eyes. he huffed, his face fuming with anger. "(y/n), for the last time! the wedding will go on as planned. now go to your room and return dressing lwreckerroper princess/prince!"
with tears in your eyes you ran up your room and slammed the door shut. falling down to the floor, where the only comfort you had where the satin sheets surrounding you.
you lifted your head at the sudden knock on your window, you could feel a sad smile form on your lips as you saw (best friend) knock on the window with their usual smug smile. wiping your tears away, you open your window to let them in.

you were on your third bottle, laughing loudly with your best friend with their arm around your waist. you both talked about life problems and your thoughts on the arranged marriage.
though, your best friend could not help you they tried to comfort you as much as possible. you then had to change into your wedding dress.
the maids made sure to keep your hair nice and clean. they applied your makeup and soon left the room. (best friend) and stayed until the bells would ring.
after a few of (best friend)'s druken stories to cheer you up, the bell soon rang and you let out a sad sigh.
