Christmas special // 3

Ahh, Christmas, my favorite time of the year. Time to spend with friends and family, loved ones~. I wish i was with someone this Christmas. More specifically, Bill. Just thinking about it makes me giddy. I saw him at the coffee shop a few days ago, and he asked when my nearest a day off was. I said today, and then he told me to meet him outside the bookstore across from the coffee shop. Just to give myself some hope, (most likely false hope) I convinced myself that he 'asked me out' on like, a date.. Yeah, im that desperate.
As I walked to the bookstore I realized I forgot my coat. I mentally face palmed, how could i be so stupid?! Huh, and its so cold, i wined.
I opened the door to the shop and i was greeted by one of the workers "Welcome to Barns and Noble! Is there anyway i could help you?" The worker asked. "Im just looking around right now, thank you though sir." I smiled at his politeness. "Just holler if you need anything! Well, maybe dont holler, due to the fact that this is a book store haha." He laughed. I just smiled and nodded, then walked over to the Warrior cat section. Yes, i do know that Warriors is for fifth graders, and yes, i do know that im nineteen almost twenty. I have no shame, its a good book series!! It has my favorite animal in it, it has adventure, action, comedy, and a few pretty decent love stories! But to be honest, they do milk the idea of forbidden love way to much.
I decided I should go back to the front and wait for Bill, I decided to go about twenty minutes early so i could look at the Warriors books. My train if thoughts was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Hey kid~" I turned around, "Hi Bill!!" I said, maybe a little too loud, i mean, we are in a bookstore. "Shall we?" He asked holding out his hand for me. And let me tell you, in that moment I just dyed. I internally yelled, my dream crush just held out his hand for me to take, like- hold it!!! IM DEAD!!! "Are you ok princess?" Bill asked. "Oh yeah- haha, im fine." I said embarrassed at how long my little freak out took. I took his hand and we went to go get coffee at the Starbucks in the bookstore. Bill got a Double chocolate chip cappuccino with two pumps of caffeine, and one pump of chocolate sauce. Like he always does. I just got a hot chocolate, because well, its the day before Christmas! Bill took a sip of his cappuccino, "Its good, but not as good as yours." He purred. "Haha thanks I guess." I said nervously.
We walked outside of the store and are now walking to a Christmas store thats a few blocks away! As we walk into the store i see Bill's face light up. Its cute seeing him so excited over something that most guys aren't. "I see you really like Christmas." I laughed, "Hehe yeah, i love all of the decorations and just the overall feel that it gives." He smiled. HUH! Again with that adorable smile, i cant take it anymore.
Me and Bill walked around the store for a while, I didn't buy anything but Bill... oh Bill. He pretty much bought the whole store!! I guess he really does love Christmas. Now were walking back to his car, he insisted on driving me back to my apartment, even though its just a twenty walk. As we're walking he squeezed my hand, probably trying to get a reaction out of me, or make me flustered. But honestly I was just happy, happy that i had the weekend off of work, happy that I get to see all of my friends and family tomorrow, and happy that i get to spend time today with the person i love, Bill.
When we get to his car, i hop in on the passenger side. I realized when i first saw his car that me must have a REALLY good paying job, because his car is very nice. We've been driving for about fifteen minutes now, and we're almost at my apartment, sadly. I wanted to spend more time with Bill, but i get he must be busy. I mean, Christmas is tomorrow.
As we walk up to my apartment he looks at me. "Well, i guess its time for us to part. It's dreadful really, i wish i could spend more time with you, but i have some last minute wrapping to do." Bill said. "Alright! Thank you for taking me to the bookstore and buying me the coffee." I smiled. I was about to unlock the door but i was stopped by Bill's hand grabbing my wrist. He then did something so unexpected that i could have burst out of a mix of joy, excitement, and nervousness. He... Kissed me. I then kissed back, after realizing what had just happened. After a little bit he broke off and leaned close to my ear. "It was a date." He said in a mix of seductiveness and love. He then walked away before i could react. He then turned around. "Oh! And Merry Christmas Kid!" He yelled, before walking back to his car without turning back. That, that was something, I thought to myself. "This is the best Christmas ever." I said as I walked into my apartment. "Maybe we will work out." I smiled.

935 words! A bit of a longer chapter for me! Well, maybe not for you guys though. I bet your Bill Cipher crazed ass has read a lot longer stories than this. (No shame, i have too...) Anyway, i want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! ALSO! In the story i use princess as a gender neutral nickname. Im sorry if that makes you uncomfy. If it bothers you just tell me and ill stop, but for now, it's being used as a gender neutral term.
