Paano ko ba sisimulan? Hmm. . . I can’t put some words to describe her because she’s really. . . really something that I could not express to. She looks dull. A plain and a vintage type of a lady. She always have her books and I really don’t understand why she loves flipping pages with those old books. She’s really different.
Those eyes that are like green leaves that are happily dancing with the wind. Those wavy hair that is like sea waves. Those eye brows that looks like a charcoal that perfectly created above her eyes. Those jawlines that rarely be seen on girls.
She was created perfectly.
I love how she fix her hair just how I love touching the waves approaching me at the seashore. I love how she fix those glasses when reading a book that fits to her small eyes. I just. . . Just love watching her from a far.
I couldn’t approach her because there is really something that I can not pinpoint out why I am this afraid to approach her.
Maybe because her eyes were capable to dig your inner soul when she looks at you. Or maybe her looks can judge my whole system. I don’t know.
But. . . One thing is for sure, I really do admire her.
“Tulala ka na naman.” Napakunot ang noo ko bago tumingin kay Enzo. He snapped his fingers in front of my face to get my attention.
“I’m sorry, what was that?” I asked, going in their conversation about something that I missed.
“What are you staring at ba kasi?” Tumingin si Ivene kung nasaan ako nakatingin but I immediately block her sight.
“Nothing,” I smiled at her. “Let’s continue our conversation, what was that again?”
“Dude, you are weird.” Natatawang sabi pa ni Enzo.
“We are talking about the resort that we will going to visit.” Zac said before sipping to his coffee.
“Yes! It’s like a mini-vacation for the four of us!” Ivene giggled. “Well, double purpose ang gagawin doon. We are going to visit and enjoy the vacation, and then we are going to inspect the whole area.”
“Bakit kasama kami?” I asked her, getting missed out to her point.
“My God, Ravii! Of course, you are the lawyer here, excuse me?” She acted so piss.
“Why is the need of my service?” I really don’t get her point.
“Bro, ang weird mo. Sino ba kasing tinitignan mo kanina?” Enzo tried to get my face out of their view so I move aside. This man.
“Oh. . . Someone’s reading.” the smirk on Zac’s lips been visible after he saw something. “Do you miss her?”
“Zachary,” banta ni Enzo sa kaniya. I looked at Ivene when she looks at me. “Don’t start.”
“Why? I was just asking!” Zac laugh so I throw the pillow and it hits his head.
Deserve.
“I’ll just go to comfort room.” Ivene smiled at me so I gave her a small smile.
After she left, the two guys look at me with interrogating eyes.
“Admit it.” Nakangising sabi pa ng lalaking ito.
“Stop,” I tried not to roll my eyes but they both laugh. “Fake friends.”
“What? Weakling!” They teased me even more so I had the urge to stand up and walk away from them.
Just by the thought of walking out of the coffee shop, I bump into someone’s shoulder.
“Oh... I’m so sorry.” I asked for forgiveness and looked at the lady.
“Aree! What are you doing here? I told you not to roam around! You will get hurt again.” Someone approach us behind but I stood up there and just froze when I realize who I bumped into.
Aree. . .
“I’m sorry.” Aree looked up and half of her mouth just open.
“Oh my God, girl!” The lady who approached us looks so stress and before they could even walk away from me, I grabbed her hand.
Aree’s hand.
She looked at me with frozen eyes. I can’t recognize her nature eyes now. They looked so pale and dull.
“Let it go.” She coldly said to me so I did. She once locked her eyes into mine and now I can clearly see the pain and burden that she’s carrying.
“Aree, let’s go? You need to rest.” The girl who assisted her said before walking away but my feet can’t stand on, I ran to her again.
I ran to her. . . Not again. Just now. I ran to her now.
“Can we talk?” I bravely asked her.
“Who are you? She needs to rest. What do you need from her?” The girl that’s with her asked but I didn’t answer her questions.
“No.” She answered without thinking.
“Please? I. . . really need to clear my mind.” I said without thinking my pride.
I did this again. Begging. I told myself not to beg to anyone anymore but here I am. . . Pleading again.
“I don’t want to see you again.”
Her words broke my soul.
“Aree.”
“Please, stop!” She shouted.
I move my feet back. Nagulat ako sa pagsigaw niya. She’s now trying to hold her tears not to fall on her cheeks.
“Don’t act like you want my explanation because you never did.” She wiped her tears that fell on her cheeks. “I’m tired.”
I heave a deep breath when she walks out of my sight before breathing out and a tear from my left eye fell on my cheeks and another until I cried.
I cried my heart out.
“Ravii!” my friends called me.
“I. . . hurt her perfectly. Now, it hurts so damn perfectly back to me.”
