It was quite loud and crowded but Yuna didn't mind. Her hand gripped Hyunjin's as they followed the rest of the members to there seats. They were seated in between BLACKPINK and Seventeen and Yuna only sat down after she bowed at her friends. She sat in between Jeongin and Hyunjin, which she liked because Jeongin was the cutesy when he watched the other idols perform. Yuna would be performing that night but she'd kept it a secret because she really wanted to surprise her members. Of course she wouldn't be performing by herself, everyone thought that her and Jennie would be a great duo so they were picked to do a special performance; a remix of Jennie's solo song.
Only thirty minutes into the show and Yuna was beginning to get nervous. Her hands unintentionally gripped Hyunjin's tighter and he worriedly glanced at her, "Jagiya, what's wrong?" Yuna shook her head and pulled Hyunjin's hand closer to her body, "I'm just cold. My dresses never have sleeves and they said a sweater would ruin the look."
Hyunjin frowned and pulled the small blanket from his lap, wrapping it around Yuna's shoulder. She melted into the warm feeling and was quite startled when loud cheers erupted and that's when she noticed they were on the big screen. She shyly blushed and smiled at the camera, waving her and Hyunjin's hand at the fans. "You're very daring, jagiya. They'll be asking about us." Hyunjin smirked and Yuna rolled her eyes, "You'll be happy they are, Jinnie." The two continued to watch the show and Yuna realized that she would be up soon. She waited patiently for Jennie, who stood from her table, and made her way over to her.
"Yah, Yuna, come to the bathroom with me?"
Yuna inwardly chuckled at her members shocked expression as the Kim Jennie talked to Yuna. She let Hyunjin's hand drop from hers, and stood up. Of course, Hyunjin helped her with her dress and soon, with Jennie and Yuna holding hands, they went backstage. It was complete chaos but Yuna was semi used to it. They were quickly ushered into the changing room where they changed into their outfits which Yuna adored. She was always thankful to get out of that dress. Jennie finished changing first and went to get her hair done while Yuna went to get her makeup done. They soon switched, both laughing at how ridiculous they looked with only have of their faces and hair done. It didn't take long before they were at the entrance of the stage. Yuna could see her table and chuckled at how nervous they looked.
"Girls, you're on! Remember to stand still when the platform rises, you don't want to fall."
The two girls nodded at the stage director. They quickly got into place and waited for the music to start. "Now introducing a special performance; Stray Kids Yuna and BLACKPINK's Jennie!"
(The first two girls are Jennie & Yuna, and they do all the same choreo as in Jennie's regular Solo Remix dance.)
Yuna couldn't help but glance over at her members and they were very much in shock. They just couldn't wrap their minds around it, their girl was dancing with Jennie! It felt like hours but it was only minutes before the crowd erupted in applause, almost causing Yuna to wince from the loudness. Jennie and Yuna held their positions for a few more seconds before letting their shoulders fall. Yuna had to admit she a bit more tired than expected but didn't feel like it was something to worry about.
"That was so fun!" Jennie yelled, clinging onto Yuna as they walked back to the dressing rooms. "I know! The boys are going to be so confused." Yuna giggled. They got changed back into their previous outfits and bid each other goodbye. Yuna followed behind Jennie a little ways as she didn't want to go back to the table iust yet. She made a detour, somehow ending up in the bathroom. She chuckled at how this was where she was supposed to be, not on stage dancing with a senior idol.
After ten minutes, Yuna decided to head back, bowing at everybody she seen. Her grin couldn't be contained as she sat back down next to Hyunjin. "Yah, what were you doing up there? Why didn't you tell us you were doing that?" Changbin whined and Yuna laughed at him. The others nodded in agreement and turned to Yuna, expecting her to explain. "We just wanted to perform together and JYP said it would gain good publicity for all of us. Was it good?"
"It was amazing, Noona. You danced so well!" Jeongin widely, showing off his braces. Yuna shook her head and ruffled his hair, "Thank you, Innie. I bet I danced better than Lino, hm?" "Definitely."
Yuna was sure she would get a lecture about keeping secrets from Chan when they got home and she was sure Minho would try to murder her in her sleep that night, and she was also sure Hyunjin was highly upset at what she was wearing but Jeongin liked her performance and that's all she cared about. The others were haters, period.
