In this story:
- There is no Jesus or bible, religion does not exist.
- God is just the person who owns/looks after the world, not a religion.
- God doesn't have any control over Earth. All of that belongs to the Sins and Virtues' separated mother, Mother Nature.
- God has 14 children [7 Deadly Sins and 7 Heavenly Virtues].
- The Deadly Sins are the daughters and the Heavenly Virtues are the sons.
- Every character has a physical body and a consciousness, they are not spirits.
- The year is 2050.
- All the Sins have an opposite counterpart which is their male biological twin and vice versa.
- They live in Purgatory as Heaven won't accept the Sins and Hell won't accept the Virtues.
- Purgatory is on Earth. It's the place where Heaven and Hell meet. Nothing more.
