It was dark and loud with flashing lights everywhere, soldiers were yelling at the kids to get inside wile we were fighting off the cranks, bullet casings were littering the ground and you could hear the cranks screeching from miles away.

I could see the boys and girls running into the building and that would have been my cue to race back but I could hear some boys still not in the yet.

"Don't close the gates yet I still have a few left!" I yelled over my radio-com

I could see a boy in a blue shirt sprinting past me in a blur as I was running towards the soldier and the boy, he was running back to the copter to get something.

"Come on! We don't have time!"
I yelled running over.

He ran back past me with something in his hand and mason pushing him by the arm

I was sprinting behind them yelling at my men to fall back in, so the gunners could move out. cracks were coming from all sides, we were shooting and running now.

I could hear sirens everywhere, and my ears were ringing.

As the copter took off gunners had made a wall against to door as we ran in.

Running into the lots, I could see my men by the walls steadying themselves, and the new kids huddled themselves together.

I was about to run over to them but my captain showed up in front of me.

"Y/n you need to report down the the medical team, they need more staff to help and you've been trained"

"Yeah, ok I'll head down once I'm changed"

"Good that, we'll done out there" he said walking away.

As I walked back to my room I could see Jason approaching.

"Y/n, I need you to reman professional throughout this next few weeks, and remember who's keeping you alive" he said.
