"Oh my! That what happened to him?"
"Describing it alone is already too much for you to listen to. To be honest, I didn't hear anything other than the continuous bombardment of artillery"
"You boys fought in those dug-up inhospitable holes for days or even months!?"
"Trenches are inhospitable alright. There was a rat that was the same or even bigger than a cat."
"I feel bad for you soldiers... but don't worry, you are here at Azur Lane. Everything will be safe as being on your mother's side."
"Merci, Illustrious."
"Oh, don't mention it, Mr. Raider, ~"
Being in this world is not horrible, you've spent a few minutes sitting on the same bench after those four had gone to class. So far, this fair lady is kind enough to sit and accompany you, despite your intimidating appearance.
You rest your elbows on your legs and lean forward, looking down to catch a breath. It's been a rough battle for your dignity. It was a battle between your poor brain and your candy-seeking eye. She also has been eyeing something from you as well.
Turning around to even look at her will lose control over your eyes. At least there was the sea for you to look at ahead of you.
"May I have a look at your weaponry?" She curiously said asked you. You simply lifted your right hand that was holding the club, avoiding eye contact at all costs. "May I hold it?" She asked once more. You can't have any more options or something to do anyways, you handed it over to her.
She took it with both hands, carefully lifting it higher towards the sky. "I-It is heavier than I expected." She anxiously said while she was trembling. Seeing a Well-dressed lady holding a Barbarian weapon doesn't feel quite right...
"Do you carry this club and that armor regularly?" She sympathetically asked. "I volunteered for this, so, yes I do.". "Are you not exhausted by carrying all of this?" She kept asking.
"It's not exhausting as carrying all this heart for you." You jokingly said to her. "Awww, you're so sweet" She clasps her hands together as she heard that. You're pretty good at this. "Ah, I almost forgot!" She got up from the bench, it's finally over, you thought to yourself.
"I have a meeting with the commander, please excuse me, Raider." She bows before she departs, but enough time for you to ask something. "Who's the commander?" you apprehensively asked her. "A someone you might meet here, well now, see you soon!" She turns around and strolls away.
Perhaps, the commander will lead to one thing or another. Learning where you are first was your first objective. But now, you got up and head closer to the railings that separated you from the ocean. Leaning on your back and let your arms rest on the railings.
