Nolan's POV

It's been a few weeks since the night of the party. Things have been wonderful. For one, we didn't have to worry about Gage anymore. He was expelled the following morning for selling drugs on campus. Good riddance.

My time with Ollie had been some of the best days of my life too. Ever since he told me he was a little we've felt closer than ever. We can tell each-other anything. No one else makes me happier than Ollie does. It's amazing how fast you can bond when you've found the right person. I feel as though we've known each-other our whole lives.

Today neither of us had classes. So we decided to just chill in our room together. We were laying on the floor, more specifically on our shared white fluffy rug, working in our sketchbooks and listening to music. I was working on drawing eyes and storm clouds. Pencil led and charcoal were smeared across the skin of my hands, while Ollie had greens and blues on his. He was working with acrylics, painting a little frog in the rain. It was calm, until my favorite song came on.

"Oh, I love this song!" I sprung to my feet and started dancing with my fists in the air and my hips moving side to side. Ollie looked up at me and laughed. I put my arms out. "Come dance with me!" I said.

He sat up and put his hands up in defense. "No, I don't dance. Im terrible at it" he giggled.

"Nonsense!" I said scooping him up in my arms. He let out a squeal of surprise and wrapped his legs around my waist and his arms around my neck. He giggled historically as I dance and bounced us around all over the room, being careful so as not to step on our art projects. Pure excitement and laughter filled the air around us. These were one of the few moments I never wanted to end, where I could just hold him so close I can feel his chest moving when he laughs, and his skin against mine when his fingers brush the back of my neck.
Towards the end of the song I slowed down and started singing along. He hugs me tight, resting his head on my shoulder.
When I spin us around I let us fall onto my bed. We both giggle, and I get lost in his eyes. For a moment or two everything around us disappeared. It was just his eyes, his smile, and an unknown force wanting to pull me in even closer.
I finally broke the silence by clearing my throat and pulling away.

"You're such a goof" he said still smiling at me.

I wrinkled my nose at him. "You know you love me".

He smiled adorably and slid off my bed, going over to his bed to grab his baby blanket. He held it close to his chest and buried his little nose in the soft fabric. I ruffled his hair, like I always did, and grabbed his froggie pacifier off the night stand. I held it out to him and he took it shyly. As soon as he popped it in his mouth I scooped him up in my arms again and hopped onto his bed.

"Bunny!" He said pointing out the window. I looked over to where he was pointing and saw a cloud that was indeed shaped like a rabbit.

"Looks like a goose to me" I teased.

"No way!" He laughed. "How does dat wook wike a goose?"

"That's his beak"

"Those are dah ears!"

"That's his wing"

"Bunny tail!"

"And it's a goose because I said so"

"Well, you're a butt"

"Why thank you" I said giving him a smirk.

He shook his head at me and looked back out the window. As he watched the clouds pass by, his hand went to my hoodie strings. He played around with them Absent mindedly. My fingers went through his hair as I slowly rocked him back and forth. I watched him further slip into a younger headspace until he was humming softly like a small baby and rubbing his eyes.
