Y/n POV

it was yet another dull day for you as you make your way to the place you know as hell, or as others would know it, school.

the wind whips you're h/l hair around as it was due to storm later on in the day.

you sigh in relief as you finally near the school gates, meaning you will soon be out of the harsh winds.

placing your shoes in the cubby and grabbing your school shoes you fail to notice the girl sneaking up behind you.

"hellooo~ l/n-chan!" a peppy voice chirps next to you.

turning to your side you greet Teruhashi, the girl who befriended you as soon as you transfered to this school.

yeah i know, the transfer student, how original. well you transfered before highschool so technically you aren't even a transfer anymore. it's been about three years since you had moved with your mother so you wouldnt consider yourself a transfer anymore.

"hey Teru-chan," you smile at her.

you chuckle as she grabs your hand to drag you through the halls to your shared classroom.

you recently found out that she had a crush on one of your classmates. Saichu? Sika? Saiki? Saiki!! lol you're kidding you knew his name. he was the quite pink headed kid who sat in front of you.

you were always curious as to how he had so many friends when he almost never talks. at least not that you've heard. but then again you've only ever seen him in class and in lunch on the rare occasion you went to the cafeteria to eat.

you only knew she had a crush on him from the way everytime she saw him, no matter who else was with her without fail, she would run up and try to start a conversation with him. it was very obvious to you especially when she made those chocolates for him.

as you find your way to your seet you notice that he isnt even at school yet which was strange as you had gotten used to seeing the strange green shaded glasses first thing when you walk in to class.

you are surprised when he suddenly walked through the door right before the bell rang. maybe he got caught in traffic or he missed his train/bus. you didn't know. you also didn't know why you were worried about him.

~small time skip to lunch~

grabbing your bag from the floor you pull out your lunch box and stand from your desk.

"hey Saiki-kun can we join you for lunch today?" you hear Teruhashi's chipper voice cut through the classrooms chatter as she grabs your arm and drags you after the quiet boy.

"oh, Teruhashi! you can't just ask someone so casually like that," you panic. he didn't seem to happy to be stalled from grabbing his lunch and eating so you tried to derail this situation as quickly as you could.

i've never talked to this man befre in my life it would be so fucking awkward if we suddenly were eating lunch together. i couldnt handle the embarassment if something stupid happened. you try to think of ways to get yourself out of the situation you had unwillingly been dragged into.

"don't be silly l/n-chan, he doesn't mind. right Saiki?" she giggles in her light voice making all the boys around blush at the sound.

rolling your eyes you gently remove your arm from her hold.
