Wilbur was sick of it. His girlfriend, sarah, was always out with her friends. Always texting someone. Always ignoring him.

He decided that he would take a chance to see what she was doing.

—bit of a time skip—

Sarah was sleeping. She looked so peaceful, so happy. Wilbur sighed. He saw the phone in her hand, since she had fallen alseep while she was using it.

He slowly slipped the phone from her grasp. Luckily it was still open. Wilbur went to the messages. He saw one of her contacts.

"❤️Jared❤️"

"Who's Jared?" He mumbled to himself quietly.

He clicked on the contact. He did not like what he saw.

He saw her saying things that he hadn't heard her say to him in forever. He was angry at that. She would say things like, "I love you" and would use names for Jared unlike she did Wilbur.

His blood boiled at the thought of Sarah and this "Jared" being together.

He thought of confronting her right then, but that would be pointless. He decided to wait until the next morning.

So, he placed her phone onto the night stand next to the bed, he started to doze off and he finally fell asleep.

Morning

Wilbur woke up, and decided to make breakfast for himself and Sarah.

He cracked some eggs over a pan and let them fry for a bit. He grabbed bread and dropped it into a toaster. He let his stay in for a bit longer than Sarah's, since he knew she wouldn't eat it if it were half burnt.

Sarah had woken up to the smell of toast and eggs. She drowsily hopped out of bed onto the cold wooden floors and made her way into the kitchen.

"Goodmorning, Wil." She said tiredly.

"Goodmorning, sweetheart." He responded sweetly, though he knew what she had been up to.

Once his toast was finished, he finally put it into a plate with the eggs and set it on the table.

"How'd you sleep?" He asked.

"Good i guess. I'm still a bit tired, though." She honestly responded.

He knew exactly why she was tired.

"I'm gonna go get my phone." She added.

Wilbur sighed. Now was the time.

Wilbur cleared his throat as he spoke, "Sarah, why are you always on your phone?" He said, curiosity in his voice. He already knew the answer though.

"Uhm.. just texting friends and stuff. Why do you want to know?" She responded dryly.

"Oh, i was just wondering. Youre always on it. Even when I try speaking to you. You always ignore me." He said, a sad look in his eyes.

"Well, there's no reason to ask because i'm only texting my friends. And Jessica is going through a really rough time, so I have to be there for her." She was quick to respond, defensiveness in her tone.

Wilbur then gave up, not knowing how to respond.

"Okay then, I was just wondering, since again you're always on it."

She smiled, and walked back to the bedroom. Wilbur sighed as he watched her close the door.

He wanted to know more about this "Jared".
