so me and a couple of my friends frum the 5th grade created these OCs originally based off of Steven Universe but slowly drifted off to its own thing. This one, created by my friend Pam Pam was one of the first 4 OCs we made. She was originally a 60s inspired beach girl who liked summer. Her name is Sunstone (this is where the Steven Universe OC thing makes sense. yes they were all named after gemstone and they STILL ARE cuz fuck you)

In my redesign i change her from an orange looking blond alien to an actual human, whos still blonde. I took a lot of inspo from 1960s/70s surf and hippie culture, since i really like that time period at some points (minus vietnam. shit was wild in the 60s). She originally had long curly bubble braids but i changed it to an Afro, since i feel like it suited her personality more (very adventurous, outspoken, very uhhh leader-ish?) than the bubble braids. I also just REALLY like afros, i wish i could pull one off but my hair is too long and I'll look like a homeless person instead :(. Anyways, I gave her a lot of freckles too, mostly because 1. the ORIGINAL version of her made by my dear friend Pam had freckles but overtime those freckles started to be forgotten, so i decided to add them back, and 2. i feel like since shes in the sun all of the time, she starts to develop said freckles.
