School already had ended and now it's time for the seniors to graduate. I'm on my way to pick up my best friend to go to the graduation. When I got to his house, I was greeted by his mom at the door.

"Hi, Felix" his mom says opening the door. "Hi, Mrs. Hwang" I say to her. "Come on in" she says moving to the side to let me in. I went in the house and sat down on their couch, where his dad was sitting.

"Felix, my boy, how have you been" Mr. Hwang says when he saw me. "I've been doing well, what about you, Mr. Hwang" I say to him. "Oh, I've been well also, but you know you don't have to call me that, you can call me dad, since I see you like my own son" my best friend's dad says smiling at me.

"I know" I say to him. "Hyunjin, sweetheart, Felix is here" Mrs. Hwang yells. "Okay, I'll be down in a second" a voice yells back from up the stairs. "That boy, likes to take his sweet time" Mr. Hwang says shaking his head. "I heard that, dad" my best friend says coming down the stairs.

"What, you know it's true, right Felix" his dad says looking at me for approval. "Yeah, you do take your sweet time" I say which made Hyunjin look at me with a 'did you really agree with my dad' face.

"Okay, lets take a picture" Mrs. Hwang says with a camera in her hands. Hyunjin and I stood next to a wall where Mrs. Hwang pointed for us to stand for the picture. "Okay, say cheese" she says to us. "Cheese" we say together. She took the picture and looked at it.

"You, boys grow up so fast, I remember y'all being so little, now y'all are graduating" Mrs. Hwang says tearing up. "Mom, don't cry" Hyunjin says to his mom.

"Yeah, honey don't cry" Mr. Hwang says to his wife. "Alright, I won't cry, but you boys should go before you're late" she says which made us leave in a hurry.

We got in my car and started to head towards the school. It took about 20 minutes to get to school since Hyunjin took forever to get dressed. We walked in the building and went to our seats before everything started.

We were 1 minute early but it took 5 minutes to start the graduation. Once the graduation started they had the valedictorians do their speech, which took the longest. I looked at Hyunjin and surprisingly he was looking at me. He started to pretend his was yawning and falling asleep which made me laugh quietly.

I turned my attention back to the speech and prayed for it to be over since it was getting me tired. After the speech, they started to call out our names to pick up our diploma. They called Hyunjin's name and when he got up to the stage, everyone was yelling for him since he was famous for his good looks.

After a little bit of time they called my name and I made my way to the stage to receive my diploma. When I got my diploma, I heard Hyunjin yelling for me and other kids. After that once everyone was called they told us to move our tassels from the right to the left, and that now we have graduated.

We all threw our caps in the air once they said we had graduated. Everyone started to make their way to their families and friends after the ceremony. Hyunjin came to me and we made our way to where the parents are.

We took pictures with our parents and together once everything was over, Hyunjin and I went back to my car to go to my house. We got in the car and decided to get some food first before going to my house.

We went to Whataburger and got down since the drive thru line was too long. We walked in and bumped into a girl who looked like our age. "I'm sorry" she says to us. "Oh, no it's okay" Hyunjin says to her.

"Oh, it's you guys" she says recognizing us. "Oh, hi Jihyo" Hyunjin says to her. "Hi" she says smiling. Jihyo knows us because we are best friends but then she moved and we never saw her again till now.
