I lay in my bed, reading, my phone next to me while a pair of headphones are put on my head, playing music as my fairy lights illuminated the room. I sigh as I put my book down, paying attention to my cat, I pet them, feeling content on this surprisingly warm winter night. I take out my headphones, putting them to my neck, although music is still playing as I also take out my glasses and put them on a nearby table.
I lay down onto the softness of my pillows, forgetting about the uncomfortableness of the headphones as I drift away to sleep, accompanied by my thoughts.
