As soon as I got home from school, I went straight into the shower. I spent about half an hour in the there. I wanted to clear my head.
Once I was done, I put on some comfortable clothes and flopped myself on the bed, put my headphones on, and started to play music.
A little later I heard my mother call my name. I paused the music and went to see what she wanted.
-Are you hungry,darling? She asked.
-No. I'm not hungry,mom. I answered
She gave quite a strange look then walked away.
Afterward, I turned my music back on,and closed my eyes. Next thing I knew, I entered a whole new and different world. It was so beautiful.
I found myself in a landscape, with colourful flowers all around me. In the background music could be heard. A song after another, which were all from my playlist.
All of the sudden the music stoped. And the beautiful image I was seeing was gone.
I was back. Back in the same place where my nightmare took place. No one was around me.
- Hello? I said. My voice echoed.
HELLO?! I yelled. Still no answer.
After I yelled the same thing again a misterious voice answerd:
- Hello,little one! Said the voice. I started to look around me, but couldn't see anything or anyone.
I felt a breeze that gently touched my face, which sent shivers down my spine.
- Who's there? I asked with a shaky voice, and still looking around me desperately.
- Over here,dear. Said the voice again, this time from behind me.
I turned around and saw probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.
-Who are you? I asked.
-An angel. Answered the woman. It is nice to finally meet you,M@&£3:.
-How do you know my name? Why am I here? Why are you here? What is going on? WHO EVEN ARE YOU?! I couldn't control myself anymore. I felt so many emotions at the same time. Feeling so confused and lost, I started to cry.
The woman brushed my hair out my face and looked right into my eyes and spoke:
-Shh...It's alright. I am not here to hurt you. You are here for a reason. Before I answer your questions, let's get to know each other. My name is Lulu.
-Why are you here?
-I am your guardian angel,and the reason why I am here is to help you find out who you are. This is why the both of us are here.
-What even is this place?
-This is the Holly Hallway. A place where people end up when they're having an existential crisis. Usually people your age end up here. And from what I understand you are having trouble with a crisis yourself. My job is to guide on the right path, and help you get through this, so that in the end you'll find out who you are,M@&£3:.
There was silence for a moment. And the I started to cry loudly. I threw myself in Lulu's arms. She held me tight, and ran her fingers through my hair. I felt her gently kiss my forehead and then she said:
-Don't worry about a thing, dear. I will be here to help you and to take care of you. But now, you have to wake up. I will see you again tomorrow night.
-Promise? I asked.
-I promise, my little one. Now look in my eyes.
And so, I looked right in her bright white eyes, and a second later I was in my bed, surrounded by my plushies, and in my arms was my favourite teddy. My phone and my headphones were on my night stand. I picked up my phone to look at the time. 1:15 am. I put phone back and held my teddy bear in my arms so thightly. Tears were running down my cheeks. I couldn't believe what I saw. God sent me an angel to guide me.
-Thank you Lord! Thank you so much for sending me an angel to take care of me. But most importantly, thank you Lulu!... I closed my eyes once more and went to sleep.
