Selected — Christine + [BROOKE] + Chloe !
[BROOKE] and Chloe have started to hold hands as they wandered through the dark. Christine was still close to them, but wasn't really trying to be too close at first. It would've been rude, she though, plus she had no reason to really be too close unless for safety.
Something was watching them, they could feel eyed watching them but couldn't see it. The likely answer was that it was the Devil, or maybe some other sort of monster.
Whatever it was, the three teens did not want to deal with it.
"What's that?" [BROOKE] pointed his hand with the radio in it out at the forest, seeming to point at nothing.
"What's what?" Chloe raised an eyebrow, squinted her eyes now to try and see whatever was being pointed at.
[BROOKE] gestured again. "I see a light. It's right there."
Christine quickly shook her head and looked to her taller two peers. "I don't see anything."
"Forget it then." [BROOKE] sighed. "Probably not that important anyways..."
It wasn't long before Christine attempted to link arms with Chloe slowly, the three of them now huddled up together as the continued to venture through the loud siren sounds.
It didn't take too long for the sirens get quieter, so did their radios. Maybe the devil was already leaving. Whatever the case, Christine sighed and quickly said "let's go back."
It wasn't long before they all got back inside. Chloe was on her own sleeping back, about to go back on her phone before she saw the other two look kind of nervous and put it down. "Calm down, we can't even hear the sirens much anymore!"
"Still.." [BROOKE] mumbled, sitting crisscross on her own sleeping bag
Christine spoke up. "It's always quiet like this when the devil shows up. You know, when you least expect it and all."
Chloe facepalmed. "God, it is impossible for you too just just chill out." She then grabbed her bag and started rummaging around before she pulled out something. "Thankfully, I brought this."
The 'something' was a bottle. A dark brown, see-through bottle that was half drunken out of. It looked sticky, and whatever the liquid inside was smelled like paint thinner and that sugary coffee sweetener that comes in packets yet promises it is healthy.
That, however, seemed even less healthy than said sugar packets.
"You can both thank me by drinking this until you're both no long all anxious and weird." Chloe shook the bottle in one hand slightly and had her other hand on her hip.
[BROOKE]'s eyes were wide. "That's— I'm— Chloe that's illegal!"
Christine just stared at the bottle, very confused. There's no way Eric would allow something like alcohol at a good old Christian Summer Camp, how would Chloe have gotten ahold of that? "How did you—"
"Well, if you must know." Chloe interrupted, rolling her eyes with a smirk. "I traded two extremely ugly shades of nail polish and one tacky looking lipgloss my aunt got me for this bottle! Pretty sweet trade, huh?"
Chloe had to have been joking, Christine thought. "Did it come already drunken out of like that or have you been trying that?" her eyes narrowed a bit at the brunette.
"Are you going to ask a whole questionaire, or are you going to drink it and get tipsy?" Chloe held out the bottle to [BROOKE] and Christine.
The blonde quickly held his hands up. "I've never even had alcohol ever!" while Christine pinched her nose with her fingers.
"Oh god, it hurts to even smell this close. Are you one hundred percent sure that's even safe for consumption?"
Chloe frowned and moved her hair to one side of her shoulder. "I'm terribly sorry I didn't bring wine or whatever, I didn't bring any fancy glasses either," she announced sarcastically "but it's alcohol and all tastes like crap anyways."
She continued, now smiling again. "What you should be saying is 'oh Chloe, thank you so so very much for getting us alcohol! You spent time trading out your own stuff for it and ask for nothing in return but for us to shut up and calm down! You perfect, perfect darling, you don't deserve to be in this camp at all!'"
Silence for a few moments as Christine and [BROOKE] looked at each other. The latter of the two than turned to Chloe and giggled awkwardly. "Um, right, thanks Chlo."
Christine, on the other hand, sat up on her knees and clasped her hands together dramatically. "'Oh Chloe, thank you so so very much for getting us alcohol! You —"
"Don't get smart with me!" All three of them laughed and Christine sat back down on her sleeping bag properly.
Chloe then pulled out two tiny glasses from the same bag. "Anyways, I have only two shot glasses. Which one of you is drinking with me?"
