The Forest Men

The "incident"

    Winter was leaving work as the sun was setting. She was texting her friend about her day. Then all of the sudden a man came up behind her. He said in a voice soft and calm happy to see her, "Hey Winter! Thanks for being such an amazing person to My kids. They love you!" He then smiled.

          " It's nothing Mr. Babcock" I said in a nice steady voice. "Please call Dylan, No need to be formal" He said in a cheerfully. "Well I should get going my wife is waiting at home!" He then walked away. I was always being told by him that him kids loves me and so did his wife. I loved the man, but he was married so my fantasy could never happen.

      I got home and put my coat down on my chair. There was a slight breeze outside making it cold.
I sighed, "I love this place, but nothing happens. It's the same thing everyday." I said in a sad voice. Then there was a knocking on my door. I went to go to the door and opened it when all the sudden I was taken!

       I woke up surrounded in a cabin. "Was I kidnapped?"I thought worried about the situation. But the door was wide open and no one else was around. I stepped outside of the cabin. The cabin made a swoosh and disappeared out of sight. I fell onto the floor in fear. " WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT"!!! I Screamed as  much and as loud as I could.

     I realized this was not a normal place. I mean come on the cabin I was in just disappeared into thin air. I turn around to see animals looking at me questioning what I was and what I was doing. This one animal has the look of "I never seen anything this ugly before".

   Then I stood up legs shaking still wondering were I was. Then I looked at myself and whispered "Winter, it's time to snap back to reality..." I pinched my self. A little red mark formed on my smooth skin. "This is real!?" I said
