"Ah, I'm afraid you have the wrong person then, I've no idea what you're referring to" He tried to walk away but his path was interrupted by an ever-insistent delinquent girl "And, judging by your looks, I'd be better off to advice you to stay away from trouble, lest you want to go directly against Ritsu, the guy has no chill when it comes to troublemakers"
"Come on, you're no fun" She paused to think "Oh wait! Ohohohoho~ see I've a little trick up my sleeve, ahem" They cleared their throat "Puro Chile es tu cielo azulaaaaaaado" They began singing. All in all, Kao planned to bait them out of school and run them in circles until they got tired, so you'd see his surprise when this freshly looking beat-up kid, made no attempt to leave by the time they were on their 7th lap "You sure you know where you're going? I mean i get it, streets are all different in here so I can understand how- OUFH" They slammed against a pole, for the 8th time "Ay ay... ouchie... you know how those damn lamp posts are right? haha" Kao stared in silence "....Ah.. well, pay it no mind, I always keep some bandages in my pockets, I'm a bit clumsy" Clumsy would be the understatement of the century considering they'd managed to get 5 new bruises from just one lap around the block. Kao resigned himself and let the last bit of his pride go as he said "You're not gonna give up, are you?" "Nope!" "Sigh... follow me, I'll take you to Spirits & Such" Hearing this, Viola visibly lit up, so much so that the lightbulb ahead of them started glowing. Today was gonna be a long day
Opening the door he went inside before the bright-haired brat "I'm here" Kao said unenthusiastically, he placed his bag next to Mob's desk "Ah welcome, welcome" Reigen said, "I see you brought a new friend...?" He asked. Kao groaned "Please don't give them any ideas"
"Hello! The name's Viola" She stretched out her hand "Reigen Arataka, pleasure to meet you" He shook her hand
"I assume you're the con man running this place?" 'Way to cut to the chase' Kao thought bitterly. Reigen grimaced "Ahaha... well you see, I'm actually running a real business here, no fake psychics around no sire" Viola had the gull to look offended
"You know you can drop the act with me, psychics aren't real" Viola deadpanned. Now it was Kao's turn to be offended "The hell do you mean by that?" He asked in an annoyed tone "ESP is real, dunno what else to tell you" They scoffed "Sure and so are unicorns, come on guys, drop the act, I'm here because I wanna join in the scamming, trust me; I got a silver tongue, I used to con people out of their money with my sister back in the day" "You say that as if you were an elderly woman" Reigen countered "Same old same old, anyways, I want in on this business, I haven't gotten the chance to scam people with her in soooooo long"
Reigen and Kao exchanged a look, Kao shook his head "Kid, I'm being serious when I say this is not a scam business, we genuinely help people with the paranormal, if you can't believe that then I'm afraid there's nothing more I can do" Viola stopped to think "You really do believe psychic powers are real, don't you?" They asked, "You're not scamming others, you're scamming yourself!" She concluded "What?" Both Kao and Reigen said in disbelief "So, it'll be my duty to prove that psychic powers aren't real, and free you from your delusion" She said dramatically
Kao and Reigen both looked baffled at this explanation, how were they gonna convince this kid that ESP was real so they'd stop bugging them?
"Yo who brought the new ESPer kid" Dimple asked, Reigen jumped "Dimple I told you to stop randomly appearing in front of me" Reigen whispered "And what do you mean by that? This kid doesn't even believe in psychics!" "Oh? but this kid clearly has some strong powers, I'd put them on par with Hanazawa" "Really?"
"Ah... Sr. Reigen, why are you talking to the air...? Are you okay?" 'So this kid can't even see me' Dimple thought "Ahahah! I'm just thinking out loud, don't mind me" He scratched the back of his neck, thankfully Kao distracted Viola before she could even poke holes in his excuse "I hope you didn't think just because I brought you here you'd be exempt from your school duties, as part of the student council I need to make sure students don't slack off

"AHAHAHA yes yes, of course, si claro I mean obviously- like- yes of course" Viola began stuttering "I'll get to doing my homework right away, Mr Reigen you don't mind if I occupy the couch? Of course not I'm your self-appointed therapist, thanks for the hospitality" She quickly rummaged through her bag trying to find her work sheet "Ah— I um, I think I forgot it on my desk, I'm so sorry I have to go back to school to get itbyebyebye!!" She stormed out of the building in a hurry "Make sure to be careful around the stairs!" Reigen called "Jeez, children these days"
Kao deadpanned "So is anybody gonna address what Dimple said?"
