In the world of Ether, you belong to a class that was decided long ago: warriors, supernatural creatures (vampires, werewolves, faeries, etc. if you get an okay), royals, and immortals. Ether is divided into four kingdoms: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth.
Those who live within each kingdom are specially attuned to the respective element of the kingdom they reside in. (Ex: a resident of Fire may have the ability to spontaneously create fires).
