Rierra - I don't love you, I always Will

Reunion of Rierra

Ramin:
I was sat in my music room on the seat with my guitar on my lap and my phone in my hand. I was just checking  if anyone had commented on my fitness Instagram account. I was just about to sing a few songs, to keep my voice strong, after not being on stage in over 2 years due to the covid pandemic, when my phone played my familiar ringtone.

I was half hoping it was my good friend Sierra, she hadn't spoken to me for a while, but unusually it was Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, he had my number as we were close in a way and if he wanted me for any musicals, but he too hadn't contacted me in a while. I answered the phone call.

He started speaking first.
" Ramin, how you doing? It's been quite a while hasn't it, since I last actually saw you in flesh and blood. How's the family? How's everything going in your career?"

" Lord Andrew, I'm doing pretty good thanks, I know I miss you in a way,  family are all well, career is ok, I did a medical TV drama for a few years and now after lockdown, I'm slowly getting back into performing. How's you?"

" Ramin, how many times have I told you not to call me that but I'm pretty good too, that sounds interesting. So, of course I want to catch up with you, but I've got news and a big question to ask?"

" Sorry Lord, Yeah, it was really good, my character had a drug problem and in the end, died of an overdose, okay, spill. "

" Oh my gosh Ramin. So, as you are well aware of that the sad news is Phantom on Broadway is coming to an end, so if you are willing to play the role, I'm thinking about bringing back Love Never Dies on Broadway, and I wanted you to play Phantom, I'm not telling who the Christine is. "

Ramin's jaw dropped to the floor, he was nearly lost for words, " Oh my, I would love to, I'm very excited. You know that I love Phantom and Love Never Dies is just Legendary. "

- Andrew - " I'm glad your excited and thank you, although you should be thanking Gaston. I'm gonna leave you in suspense, in who your MS Daàe is. "
Ramin took of his jacket as he was sweating due to how excited he was.

" Fine. "

Andrew started chuckling, " Its what you get for calling me Lord Andrew all the time. " Ramin smiled, happy that he could have this sort of chilled friendship with such a prestigious man. " Love you brother. "

" Love you son. Stay well my friend. Gotta go, I'm a busy fella. "

" Hear from you soon. "

Andrew put the phone down, leaving Ramin to his thoughts and to get on with his singing before going to pick Hadley junior up from high school, seeming as he was getting slightly bullied by these idiots.

Jaiden on the other hand was at Uni and hanging out at his mates' house, concentrating too much on his music then his A levels.. Ramin's wife had recently gone out to hang out with her mates.

He decided to call his female best friend - Sierra, to see if she has any new news from Lord Andrew. Since, he had to work out for himself who was his Christine in Love Never Dies, since Andrew didn't tell him. It wasn't long before Sierra answered, " Hey bestie! " She answered cheerfully.

" Someone's in a good mood. What's bought this on?"

Sierra was sat on her sofa, with a script in her lap and her cats Celie and Olivia jumping on and off her.

" Lord Andrew just called me and asked me about something amazing! "

" Did he get annoyed at u for calling him Lord Andrew too?" I've got some exciting news for you too. How's the cats?"

" Yeah, but he knows it's our joke to him, you can start, cats are annoying but great. "

" Good Good, Andrew asked me if I wanted to play Phantom in Love Never Dies on Broadway since the show's closing in February next year, but he wouldn't tell me who my Christine is. "

Sierra's jaw dropped on the floor, she was going to be reunited with her bestest friend in the whole wide world after more than 2 years of physically seeing him and she got to play her favourite character in one of her favourite musicals.

" Stop it Celie, leave Liv alone, she's tired. Sorry, Celie's attacking Liv. Oh my GOD! Andrew asked me the same! But he wouldn't tell me who my Erik was! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to see you. "

This time Ramin's jaw dropped on the floor, he thought it would be some random actress but for it to be his bestest friend in the whole wide world was just unreal and special, no wonder Andrew kept him in the dark, Mandy would get annoyed at him and would miss him but at the time he didn't care.

" Oh my gosh, your my Christine! I'm so excited too! These video calls don't quite cut it, our fans are going to be so happy, I think they are missing us, Rierra fandom's going to rise from the ashes again. I honestly thought it would be some random actor. Did u say yes?"

Sierra had to physically place Olivia on her lap to try and mitigate her from attacking her sister Celie.

" Your my phantom again! I agree, I'm excited for the fan mail, same, I though it maybe Killian or someone, nothing against Killian, he's amazing, just I've got more chemistry with you than I do with Killian. I said yes,as I love the role so much. To be performing again, I just love the feeling of it. Did you?"

Sierra now had the dreaded wait of his answer, so was still trying to get Celie to leave Olivia alone, not because she was punishing her cat, just as Olivia was pregnant and tired. With Celie being the younger cat, she nearly all the time wanted to play.

After what felt like 5 minutes which was in fact 30 seconds to keep her in suspense to, Ramin answered, " Yes! I said yes to the offer. He didn't really clarify when it is, just that it will start a few weeks after POTO finishes, like the begining of March or something. I know it's quite a while considering its only November but it will soon come round. I can't wait! "

" Yay! Yeah, he wanted our answers first then he'll probably organise a video chat with us 3 as im in New York and as I'm busy with Chicago. I can't remember if I told u that. "

Ramin realized the time and made a mental note to sadly end the call with Sierra soon, even though he would talk to her all day, " Yeah I think u mentioned it a few weeks ago, I've got The Last Match again and then Dr Zhivago. If you want, you can come and visit me in that? "

Celie had now stopped trying to play with Olivia, instead jumping on the sofa and laying on Sierra's lap and cuddling with her sister.
"Where is it again and when is it? "

" November 14th, New Jersey. "

" Alright, I'll check my diary and I'll text u if I'm free. Evening or matinée?"

" Both. "

" Okay. Where's Dr Zhivago? London or America?"

" London, one night only. "

" Alrighty, I doubt I'll be able to fly over to England but I'll check my diary and see if I can see you in America. "

" Sie, I'm so sorry but I'm gonna have to go as I need to go and pick my youngest up from school, I would love to chat to you all day. I love you. "

" It's ok, me too but things have got to be done. I love you too Ramin. "
" Say Hi to the cats from me. "

" Will do, bye Ramin. "

" Bye Sie. "

He looked at the clock in the kitchen as he made his way out of the front door to his car in the driveway. 2:30PM the clock read, half an hour without traffic to get to Hadley's school on time. He placed his phone in the holder, in case he got any 'important 'messages.' Important' might have meant a different thing to Ramin : His kids and Sierra, maybe Mandy aswell.  As he waited in the traffic lights outside the school, his phone pinged with a message and Sierra's name popped up. He could only see a bit of the message as he hadn't unlocked his phone, but he smiled anyways.

Thankfully, he got to the school on time, so texted Hadley to see if he was coming out yet. Hadley didn't reply. This scared Ramin a bit. As he didn't know why he wasn't responding. He parked his car and got out, when he got to the alleyway near the school, his throat caught in his throat, unable to breath, he definitely didn't like what he saw.
