5. Matt Sturniolo💙

Cheer Accident-
Matt and Chris have they're lacrosse game and ur a cheerleader an accident happens...
(Disclaimer, I don't know much about cheer as I've never done it, but I'm trying my best. Correct me if I'm wrong about anything
X)

Y/n:
Me and Matt were in the front and nick and Chris were in the back of the van, we were driving to Matt and Chris's lacrosse game. I was the flyer on the lacrosses cheer team and I was quite nervous, so were they and Nick was just chilling.
Their parents said they'd meet us there as they left a bit before us to run errands first, so Nick would sit with them on the bleachers whilst we were doing our things.
I saw Matt biting his bottom lip anxiously and put my hand on his thigh
"Hey, calm down your gonna do great I know it, both of u" I say turning around to look at Chris to see he's also anxious.
"Thanks y/n/n, it's just we're playing a really good team and we might not win." Chris says.
"Yea, very few teams have won against them" Matt continues
I sigh
"Well with attitudes like that ur definitely not going to win, just try your best and that's all u can do" I try to reassure them.
"How do u always keep such a positive mood, you know we probably won't win" Matt says
"I'm a cheerleader, it's my job to stay positive about the game"
"Ok then"
10 minutes later we pull up to the game and matt parks the van.
"I'll meet u on the sidelines after we change" I say
"Perfect, I'll see u in a bit" matt and Chris reply
Nick goes to the bleachers to find his parents.

Matts pov:
I'm trying to stay calm whilst changing, chris could sense something wasn't right with me but I assured him I was fine.
It's not just the game that makes me anxious, y/ns a flyer which can be dangerous if done wrong, one slip up and ur done.
I can't help but think of all the worst possible outcomes of her stunts.
Being dropped
Slipping
Getting thrown the wrong way
Etc.
I've obviously not told her this, I actually haven't told anyone except nick and Chris.
But y/ns really good at what she does, if there were an accident there's no way it could've been her fault.
We finished getting changed and headed out to the field where I saw y/n waiting talking to her friends, she looked gorgeous, her high ponytail with a bow, and her cheer uniform.
She turned around and saw me walking towards her and excused herself from her friends hto run to
me i picked her up and kissed her before letting her down again and giving her a hug.
My brothers and parents come up to us.
"Let's take pictures before the game," my mom says excitedly.
We take some photos of me Chris and nick, me and y/n, me Chris and our parents etc.
                    -Time skip-
Soon all the cheerleaders are called to the field to perform as the team get lined up to go to the field.
They all get in positions and start they're routine, I watch as my girlfriend does all her tricks around the field, soon the pyramid is formed and I watch as she's gets helped up to the top of the pyramid.
She does a few turns on the top then prepares herself to get thrown in the air, getting her balance right for landing.
She turns and gets thrown up, she looks like an angel turning about in the air, she straightens her body to land back on the pyramid and then to flip of the top and land perfectly to end the performance.
But as she comes back down on to the girls at the tops hands, she lands and then slips and falls back to the ground.
Fuck
My stomach drops.

Y/Ns pov:
I'm doing my routine and I'm loving it.
I prepare my self for being thrown, I get thrown up pretty much perfectly.
I straighten myself preparing to make a perfect landing to continue on with the final move, a front flip done onto the grass at the front of the pyramid.
But as I land I feel my foot slip and the girl underneath me's hand move and suddenly I'm heading for the ground at full force.
As I hit the ground with a good slap I hear the crowd gasp and I yell in pain.
All i could feel all over my body, pain.
I close my eyes and hear the rest of the cheer girls come down from the pyramid and multiple people rushing over to me.
I remembered Matt was watching waiting to go in the field to play, I suddenly felt the embarrassment of falling infront of a hundred+ people, and my boyfriend who thought I was the perfect flyer.
However i still wanted him over.
"Get Matt," i manage to get out, barley a whisper to my bestfriend tia who was beside me as she was at the bottom of the pyramid.
"Yea ofc, I'll be right back," she responds running off to get him.

Matts pov:
I watch as y/n heads for the ground with force and I hear the thud when she lands and the yell of pain straight after.
I didn't know what to do, I didn't know if I was aloud to go to her.
I just look at Chris and he looks at me with the same expression, shock and terror.
I hear one of my teammates beside me
"Matt isn't that your girl who just fell," I hear him say.
"Yes, yes it is"
"Damn bro, that looked painful you might wanna go see to her"
And i just nodded my head.
I felt sick
And scared
So I just stood there.
Suddenly I see tia, y/ns bsf run over to me.
"Matt, Matt!" She says in distress.
"Y/n wants u over there cmon, she really hurt"
She tries to drag me away and before i move i say to Chris, "go get mom dad and Nick and bring them down, quickly."
And I run to y/n.

A/N-
This is quite long so I am going to make a part two soon.
Keep in mind like I said at the start, I know very little about cheer and lacrosse so do correct me if I got anything wrong.
Part 2 will be out asap.
I have another half finished Chris story in my drafts that I'm working on, so that should be out soon too.
