The Queen has planned a ball the next night and so Lady Haddington decided that Arabelle needed a few dresses. Lady Haddington has seen the young Benedict Bridgerton with his eyeing of her daughter. Lady Haddington decided that she wanted to make an arrangement since she knows Benedict would be a kind husband. She headed to the Bridgerton household and knocked on the door and the doorman opened the door. She headed to the parlor and waited for Lady Bridgerton to come and meet her. Lady Bridgerton came in to the parlor with a smile and said, "Lady Haddington!" They hugged and gave each other kisses on the cheek when Jasmine said, "Please, call me Jasmine. I have some importance to talk to you about." Violet nodded sitting beside Jasmine and Jasmine said, "You see I don't want any man to be the husband to my Arabelle and I have seen the way Benedict has looked at Arabelle. So I was thinking that Benedict could escort Arabelle tonight to see how Arabelle feels about Benedict."

Violet thought for a 2nd when they heard the door open and saw young Benedict. Violet smiled patting down a spot beside her for her son and said, "Benedict. Lady Haddington is here to ask you a question." Benedict looked at Lady Haddington as she said, "I would like you to escort my daughter tonight. I want to see if Arabelle shares the same feelings as you feel for her." Benedict nodded as Lady Haddington left and headed back to her house and went upstairs to see the maids helping with Arabelle. They finished her up and Arabelle headed to the Bridgerton household waiting by the carriage and she heard footsteps and saw Benedict. No one knows this but young Arabelle has a crush on the 2nd oldest Bridgerton since they met.

He had planned her them to take her time to make sure that no know got her. As the night when on Benedict said, "How are you Arabelle?" Arabelle looked at Benedict and said, "I'm doing well. I'm just very appreciative that you and your brothers aren't having anyone come to me. You see I have some feelings toward this one gentleman but I don't think he feels the same." Benedict looked at Arabelle and said, "Let's dance and talk."

Arabelle smiled taking Benedicts hand as they went on to the dance floor. "Is this gentleman any close to you." Arabelle smiled and said, "I'm very good friends with him and his family. They have been welcoming toward my family. One of them said me on my 2nd day and I have fallen for him." Benedict nodded twirling her around and said, "I have been attracted to this young lady ever since I've seen her. I don't think any girl can compare to her. I would be so lucky to have her as maybe a bride to my Bridgerton family." Arabelle smiled after the dance they walked to the garden talking when it was the end of the dance Benedict took Arabelle home. They said their goodbyes and as they walked into their houses they stopped at the door and took a breathe.
