In school, At Lunch-

I walked into the lunch room after grabbing my DoorDash from the front office and sitting at my own table.

I pull out my wing stop

I'm eating as I scroll on Instagram while sipping on my sweet tea and eating the last of my fries and dipping them in ranch.

"Damn best, you eatin that SHITT up" and I hear the most angelic laugh knowing exactly who it is.

"Best friend!! I reach my arms up and she walks around and gives me a hug." She steps back and I get a good look at her and gawd she's so fine but not like that I could quite literally never see us being anything but friends she still fine though.

"Best friend Whuchu been up to" she slid beside me

Me and Eliot have been friends pretty much our whole lives she might as well be my sister, lately she's just been more and more into the violence and in the streets.

She makes sure I'm never involved tho and limits online communication with me because 98% of the time she's being watched closely.

I've never seen Eliot be how everyone says she is they act like she's a monster, and that's not my Eliot.

"Damn tae yo shit looks good." She reached over and grabbed some of my food shoving it in her mouth

I looked over at her mad as hell and she raised her hands in defense.

"Anyways I have something to tell you.." I said slowly deciding that I would tell her

"What tae you know you can talk to me about anything." she turned her chair toward me and rapped her arms around me leaning into me

I smiled and just handed her my phone with a picture of the ultrasound on it.

Her eyes widened and I kid you not I cannot make this up she stands up in the chair and screams "HELL YEAAA!" Infront of the whole lunch room.

"MISS.WESTLY!" Mr.Parker the assistant principal yelled at her

She winked at him and stepped down and I squinted at her "you're on thin ice young lady."

"Then call me a muh fucken figure skater." She laughed out and flicked my forehead

"I hate you." I said calmly giving her a major fuckin side eye.

She gave me the (be fucken for real) look "No you don't, you love me so much that you're going to tell me everything."

And I did I ran everything down to her from my address to my my money and what happened between me and my mom to what happened with me and Javiar.

If we ever stopped being friends I would have to kill her she know way too much but so do I.

I know all of her secrets from where she hides her supply of thousands worth of drugs that she distributes,
to why her mom really left her dad.

"I'll be the baby daddy! Fuck javiar she gone call me tie tie, I'm finna spoil her no lie sorry." She raised her hands in defense again

I knew she wasn't lying because she does it to me just imagine she had a kid to do it to I shake my head.

After school-
I'm practically skipping out of school while chewing my gum when I hear.
"Wait for me tae!" I roll my eyes desperate to get out of this damn school.

My best friend catches up and walks beside me causing the hallway to clear out and quick leaving her lots of room to walk like she royalty or sum.

I ain't even realize I was walking and swaying my hips with my head up till I walked past Javier and him and his friends couldn't look away.

There not used to me being confident about myself nor body in general.

I stop outside and open the Uber app
Then eli snatches my phone out of my hand "fuck is you doin, go get yo ass inna car."

I smiled I've always loved her car.

Eli drive fast too.

I asked eli if I could post the picture I took and she nodded, As she drove I smiled because this was my first time being with my bestie in a while.

"You want food?" Eli asked turning her head slightly to look at me

I nodded "Can you pull into Texas Roadhouse? And get me some ribs a 12 piece 2 fried eggs ontop with barbecue?"

She gave me a disgusted look and blinked a few times "The fuck?.... You pregnant as fuck because that shit sound nasty.."

I shrugged my shoulders and giggled "And fucken is... Whuchu gone do about it?" I asked as she pulled up to the window because the speaker was broken. (the getto😭)

She ordered our food and I sat in my seat smiling.

A few minutes later..

"Turn right here Eli." I told her and she followed my directions to my house until we finally arrived."
