He knew she would be exhausted, lycans can be insatiable during the honeymooning, so when she fell asleep in the clearing after being subjected to his hungers until the sun began to come up he lifted her with a serene smile and began walking her to his home. He left their clothes and her possessions behind, not caring about anything but his Soul Mate getting a shower and a warm bed to cuddle into with him at her side.

His brothers heard him coming, and smelling the honeymooning on the air, closed themselves away until they were sure he was happily in his room with his Soul Mate. They were aware that the two would need their space for a while before they could bombard the redhead with their friendly interrogations. Once they heard the shower come on they exited their hiding places and got back to work on the pack house.

Roman tickled his woman awake before he carried her into the stream of warm water and stood her up so he could get to work on cleaning her body. He worshiped as he washed every inch of her and moving on to her hair. She sleepily smiled at his endeavors and allowed him to care for her the way she knew he needed to.

He moved onto her thick curly tresses of red hair and massaged her scalp and ran his fingers though until it was lying like wet silk against her body before he lifted her out of the shower and patted her body dry with a towel. She hummed her thanks when he pulled a comb through her hair and then wrapped it in the towel so she may sleep comfortably in his bed. He placed her under the covers and watched her sleeping until his own eyes began to droop. He fell asleep wrapped up with her, content and warm.

They slept through the day and the night. The working hands of Roman's six brothers were what woke them at the break of day. They indulged in one another again before Roman brought her to the kitchen to feed her. She insisted on helping him with breakfast, ignoring his protests.

"I want to help, let me care for you as well, Roman." She placed her hand on his forearm and looked up at him happily. Roman groaned and agreed, but kissed her thoroughly as a bartering piece. She did not mind at all. A man entered the kitchen and smiled at them.

"Severn," She astutely remembered his name, "Hello. Are you hungry?" She was maneuvering a large bowl of eggs while Roman chopped peppers and onions.

"Starved, we are on a break, is there enough for all of us or should we fend for ourselves?"

Elodie smiled, "There is plenty, sit, you have been working all morning, you must be exhausted."

Severn shook his head as the others entered through the mud room, "Naw, we'll be working well into the late afternoon. Ask me then."

Oren was the next to greet Elodie, but he quickly turned his attention to his brother, "So, you think honeymooning is a good excuse to leave all the work to us, eh?" He winked at Elodie lest she take offence. She smiled in return. As the brothers bickered about what is and is not a good excuse to skip out on work, Geoffrey addressed Elodie.

"Will you be staying with us from now on?"

"For now I will be, we haven't spoken much about future living arrangements yet. I have a sweet little cottage about an hour's run from here where we can stay. My daughter is there now with my mother, but I will need to return for a time once the honeymooning is over so she can head back home." She smiled ruefully, "She came for a short visit, and it is turning into a much longer stay for her."

"You have a child?" Josiah quipped, obviously not happy on behalf of his brother, "How did that happen?"

Elodie raised an eyebrow at the strange question but didn't need to say a word as Roman beat her to it.

"What makes you think you can speak to my woman that way, Josiah, I know exactly what you mean by that, and I am not having it." He pointed a threatening finger at him from across the kitchen, "I have accepted Alonna as my own, and that is all you are entitled to know." He looked around at all of his brothers, most of whom looked like they could care less, "She will be treated as my daughter when she comes to live here with our other children, or you will leave."
