Morgan wandered into the kitchen, early in the morning knowing Samantha and Max wouldn't be awake, hopefully after what Morgan was gonna do. Going through many years of trauma, the death of their sister, getting used for money, and the death of their father during their college years, it all felt like too much for Morgan to handle, going through nothing but stress and paranoia, as they wandered towards the set of knives, pulling out a paring knife as they thought about their childhood, and those who died along the way. Morgan shivered as the tip of the knife touched their neck, as tears ran down their face, thinking about all of their friends, but then Morgan's mind discarded all of those thoughts, only thinking about the freedom that would come after death. Slowly, the small knife went towards their throat, as they pressed it into there, a voice yelled Morgan's name, causing them to drop the knife, as the figure ran over to them, Morgan turned to see Max, with an angered look on his face, "What the hell were you doing?!" Max yelled at Morgan, lifting up their chin seeing if there was any blood, luckily only marks of what could've been, meanwhile Morgan was trying to find their words out of this situation fearing what Max could do to them, "I just- it was only-" Morgan quickly stayed silent, while Max still examined their neck before then sighing, looking down at Morgan, as tears rolled down their face, they hugged Max with their words being mumbles, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do it, I just wanted to feel something, something for once in my life without knowing about all of the things that I was oblivious to, or even being used for, I know I might sound stupid, but please Max, forgive me.." Morgan was still crying into his chest, as he sighed again, hugging Morgan, telling them that it's okay, while they continued, "all my life I've been trying to be happy, to feel like I was someone who meant something to somebody else, yet most of the time I was just blinded and tricked into the things I didn't want to know about, I tried to shake it off my back, but everytime I did more and more things kept happening and I just didn't want to deal with it anymore.." Max letted go of Morgan from his arms, as they did aswell, Max looked down at them, "Listen, it's alright Morgan, but you have to remember, you have people who still care and will always care for you, dead or not, everyone would still love you for who are, including your father." Morgan attempted to smile, but their tears said otherwise, as Max hugged them again, comforting them in his arms as they cried into his shoulder. (Please, forgive me)
