Ne'at quickly left Alo'an alone, since she had only gone to say thank you, for defending her of course. Neteyam was happy, seeing the girl walk away.
He was going to approach Alo'an, but he saw his dad step out and walk away with him. He was upset, seeing that Alo'an was still being punished for defending himself.
"Neteyam."
The boy turned around, seeing his mom behind him. She walked over, placing her hands on his shoulders.
"Yes?" Neteyam replied. "What's with you and that boy?" she asked. "With Alo'an? Nothing." Neteyam responded. "Really? You don't seem to be enjoying the celebration and earlier you were smiling when he was with you." she hummed. "I also saw you staring at him the whole night."
Neteyam sighed, knowing that his mom had already caught on. She smiled, seeing the embarrassment on his face.
"So what's with him?" she asked. "I don't know." Neteyam shrugged.
Neytiri hummed, looking over at Ne'at.
"You think he likes that girl over there?" she whispered. "Hopefully not." he frowned. "Why?" Neytiri asked. "Just...because." Neteyam replied. "Because...you want him to be interested in you?" she asked.
Neteyam looked at his mom, knowing she was right. Neytiri laughed, knowing she was right about everything.
"Neteyam, talk to him about it, ask him if he likes the girl." she hummed. "If he's interested in you then amazing, if not then there's nothing you can do about it." she smiled.
Neteyam smiled, seeing his mother go back with his dad. She looked back at him and smiled.
"Go find him." she waved.
Neteyam nodded, quickly leaving the celebration. He made his way back to the village, seeing Alo'an sit by the ocean.
He approached him, seeing as the boy had tears rolling down his face. Neteyam was surprised, seeing Alo'an so vulnerable.
"Hey." he whispered, standing next to the boy.
Alo'an quickly wiped his tears, knowing it was Neteyam.
"What do you want?" Alo'an replied. "I just wanted to talk to you." Neteyam hummed.
Alo'an glanced at the boy, who was now sitting next to him. He avoided his gaze, trying to stop himself from crying again.
"Look at me." Neteyam mumbled.
Alo'an tried not to, but he gave in, seeing how desperate Neteyam looked. Neteyam stared at Alo'an, seeing as his face was still wet.
"You did a bad job wiping those tears." Neteyam chuckled, softly holding Alo'an's face.
He watched Alo'an's eyes close, feeling his touch. Neteyam saw Alo'an's ears twitch as his fingers softly grazed over the boy's eyes, wiping his tears. They were both surprised at how fast Alo'an had calmed down. It was good that he found comfort within Neteyam.
Alo'an's eyes opened, seeing as Neteyam was placing his fingers on his lips.
"Do they hurt?" he asked, looking him in the eye. "A little." Alo'an mumbled.
Neteyam was mad, seeing the wound Alo'an had on his lips. He smiled, seeing Alo'an's eyes slowly soften.
"Stop looking at me like that." Neteyam mumbled, looking down. "What? Why?" Alo'an asked, clueless. "I will not hesitate to kiss you. I missed it twice earlier and I will make your lips bleed again." Neteyam groaned.
Alo'an's body was suddenly heated, and his ears softly twitched. He was nervous, seeing Neteyam look up at I'm again.
"Or do you want that kiss?" he asked. "Neteyam, don't say things like that." Alo'an whispered.
He looked back at the hut. Thankfully, you couldn't get a good view from there to where the boys were, so they didn't have a great risk of getting seen.
"Are you nervous your dad will catch us?" he hummed. "Or do you like the thrill?"
Alo'an looked at Neteyam. It was both. Alo'an sighed.
"We dont know when the others will come back either, plus, don't you think it's too late for this." he mumbled. "No, I think it's perfect timing." Neteyam shrugged.
His hands went down to Alo'an's, raising it to his chest.
"Feel my heartbeat." he whispered. "This is because of you."
Alo'an's face was more heated than it had ever been. He was nervous, seeing how nervous Neteyam was as well. His hands moved up to Neteyam's neck. He got closer until his lips were on Neteyam's.
He backed away, seeing Neteyam's surprised face. He wasn't satisfied with just one kiss. He wanted all of it, all of Alo'an.
