Episode 6: waiting

Shelly decided to finally attend school, knowing his friends have been worried for so long and for another reason...

Her childhood friend Owen Knight is coming to school in a few days. She is just glad that he wont meet Jay.

She went inside her classroom knowing that she was already late.

Silence filled the room.

"Ah, good morning, Shelly!" Mia waved happily.

Soon the whole classroom was screaming due to happiness.

"SHELLY!!" "YOU'RE BACK!!" all of them shouted.

But before they could circle around Shelly they were stopped by a loud bang. It was Mr. Nam, everyone immediately sat down in there seats except for Shelly.

Before Shelly could react or ask she was grabbed for a hug by Mr. Nam (NOT A SHIP).

"Oh dear, Shelly, HOW ARE YOU!?" Mr. Nam tried to hug her he was immediately dodge by Shelly.

"Nope." Shelly then went to her seat.

"Ahem... Anyway, kids, let's continue the lesson."

After a few hours of teaching it's finally recess.

Everyone immediately gathered to Shelly and asks multiple questions like;

"how are you, Shelly?"
"are you alright, Shelly?"
all of them.

Shelly groaned softly as she was walking away from school.

'I forgot how tiring school was.' she sighs in annoyance, 'especially when Jay is not here...'

Everything sucks. I miss Jay.

She wondered if Jay wasn't in a coma, will he still like to study? Will he ever ride his bike again? But there's one thing that was keeping her thinking... Why did Jay tried to commit suicide?

He had a good life. Good grades. Good friends. But... his parents....

Before Shelly even knew it she was standing at the hospital.

Minu, Dom, and Vinny was inside Jay's ward, talking. Vinny sitting next to the raven haired boy, Dom and Minu next to each other. Everything seems to be doing great with all of the sudden, a loud beep came from Jay's monitor.

Everyone panicked, Dom and Minu screaming for a doctor, and Vinny gripping Jay's hand like it was his life.

"Jay! Please hold on! Don't die!" Vinny yelled.

Soon the doctor and the nurse came, telling the teens to wait outside. Of course, they obeyed.

The three stayed quiet, Dom was panickly typing, Minu was trying his best to calm down, telling himself that everything's gonna be alright, and for Vinny, he was completely out of it, trembling, holding tears, tightly gripping his hair.

"what's going on?"

Everyone looked up and saw Shelly.

Minu and Dom glance at each other, thinking who will explain to her. Vinny stood up, head down low, and avoiding eye contact.

He began to explain everything whats going on and Shelly, as he listen to every word, she was holding tears.

Soon, not long enough, June, Mia, and Yuna finally arrived.

"How is he?" June asked, "he's still inside..." Shelly said sobbing.

Yuna and Mia immediately tried to comfort her, they made her take a seat and saying all comforting stuff to her.

As for Vinny, he sat on the floor, next to the door.

"Hey."

Vinny glance at the side and saw Minu who was looking directly at the girls, "I already know."

"What?" Vinny asked. Minu smiled and anwered, "that you like him."

Thankfully, Shelly and the others didnt hear them.

Vinny's eyes went wide and immediately asked, "how did you know?" 

Minu letted out a chuckle, "it was obvious, all those holding hands while falling asleep, and well... I dont know anything else beside that."

He smiled and looked at Vinny, "So don't give up, don't lose hope of trying to love him, he needs you, he needs you to stay by his side."

He was right, Jay needs him, he wants to help him, Jay might know how to hide his feelings and all the thoughts he had but he also needs help, Vinny can see how much Jay bottled up his feelings, he didnt know that Jay wanted to be free from his parents that he'll commit suicide.

The red head ruffles his hair in desperation.

God, he wanted to punch Jay's beautiful face of his for doing this, he better not do this again.
