Sara was in her last period of the day. It was also Friday so she would be able to escape this hell for a few days. But on the other hand she would be trapped in another.

When end the bell rang for school to be over Sara ran out the door. But as she raced down the hallway a hand grabbed her arm and pulled her on the ground while tripping her at the same time. Sara knew who it was, because there is only one person who can dig her claws into flesh like that. Christa.

As Sara felt the last bone crushing kick come from the jocks who had joined Christa a few seconds after she had started beating Sara up with her usual dose of weekend pain. Sara sat for about a half an hour curled up in a ball crying silently. After a while she got up and went to her beloved black jeep, and to no surprise, it had been scratched with a key saying 'emo' on both sides of the car and the tires were slashed with her CDs scattered on the ground. She would have screamed but her neck was so beat it wouldn't have allowed her to. She also had a fear that they were near by. So, she just managed to whisper a curse and started to examine her car while picking up her CDs. She had a fold up scooter in the back of her jeep because similar things have happened before. She then called the body shop to come pick up her car. 'Mom is going to be pissed' Kara thought as she started towards her house.

As she neared her house, the distict smell of beer filled her lungs. 'Shit' Sara thought as she folded up her scooter, and went inside. When she got inside her mother came out of the kitchen and yelled "where the hell were you?! School ended three hours ago!" "My car got scratched, and my tires were slashe ok?! I'm not in the mood to talk!" Sara screamed as she stomped up to her room. Sara was done putting up with Christa, her mom, school and everything else. So, Sara packed a duffel bag with clothes, and jumped out her window.
