"This ended up being much more fucked up than I expected. Sure, I prepared for the mean girls and the way too occasional school ball but, the supernaturals and actual mafias and,yes mafias with "s" as in plural, were uncharted and unexpected territories."
Linda, surprisingly, looks at me as if I'm actually sane. Which is a huge difference from my previous therapist who well, quit.
Calmly she asks "Stacy would you mind slowing down a bit and taking everything step by step?"Her eyes are kind and her voice is gentle.
I can hear genuine curiosity in her tone. She takes out a black notebook and a pen and scribbles down a few words before she asks,? "Could you start your story at the beginning?"
I look at the clock on the wall in front of me. The 32 minutes left of this session is taunting and urges me to make use of the money my friend payed for this. "Sure, I'll start at the beginning of my story. And I'll try to keep it as spoiler free as possible from this point forward."
I take a long and deep breath before I begin. It's always tiring to start a story from the beginning. Especially if you already know the end.
A/N: Hope everyone is excited for the story and enjoyed the beginning!! Comment your first impressions and please vote. Next part coming soon...
