A Flight to Remember

Several weeks had passed by in the blink of an eye, and shortly after school ended. At Jill's follow up appointment, Dr. Hudson decided that her symptoms were solely based on stress and nothing more. The fall she had that concerned Alice had more than healed up on its own, and Jill's diary only confirmed Dr. Hudson's initial suspicions. Or at least that was what Jill imagined they wanted her to think.

"Why not treat yourself to a vacation?" the doctor had said to Jill. Jill had noticed a questioning look on the doctor's face, but she refused to dare ask any further questions on the matter. "Give yourself a mental reset, and we'll go from there. If your symptoms get better, then great! If not, then we'll move along to getting you a referral to a specialist." The doctor looked as though they wanted to add something else, their brow furrowing ever so slightly, but they seemed to think better of it and sent Jill on her way.

But the problem was Jill didn't think her symptoms were stress related at all. Quite honestly, Jill felt that Dr. Hudson didn't believe it either. In fact, half of her diary consisted of made-up entries as she continued to wet herself as she pleased. She was far more careful while in public, but at home, she relished in the secretly naughty feelings she had. Still, it didn't stop her from deciding to book the trip for the summer holiday. She couldn't deny that she needed a vacation, and having some time far away from everything felt like it would give her enough time to do some soul-searching. Jill had to admit that she had to do a ton of it.

Atlanta airport was exactly as busy as Jill remembered as she hurried through the massive lobby. Her trip to Dublin away from everyone else, her class, flirting colleagues, and she had to admit, with a bit of a cringe, even Alice, was well needed. Jill grimaced as she remembered the conversation they were having when Alice dropped her off.

They were nearly at the drop-off lanes when Alice decided to make her final offense that car ride. It wasn't even the first time Alice had tried to convince her of the idea, she had been extremely adamant once she had heard of Jill's trip, really, but Jill planned to make sure that Alice wouldn't bring it up until she had returned home.

"Are you sure that you don't want to wear any protection?" Alice asked earnestly. "I think it would really be a good idea - just in case, you know."

"Yes, Alice," Jill replied with a huff. "I'll be fine. I haven't had any issues lately." Even though Jill was technically telling the truth, she felt a blush creep up her cheeks.

"Well, I'm just saying," Alice said. "Not only is it a long flight, it's a late one, as well. You definitely don't want to have any accidents, and I think protection might be the best way to go. In fact, if you reach into the back seat I -"

"Alice, no, please," Jill sighed, feeling slightly aggravated. "We talked about this already. I am a grown woman, and I can keep my pants dry. Most of the time," she added under her breath. "I don't need any protection. Besides, there's a bathroom on the plane. I will be fine."

"Okay, okay," Alice said lifting a hand from the steering wheel in surrender, "if you say so. I'm just saying you would feel more secure, that's all."

"I'll be fine," Jill said sharply the moment Alice pulled to the front of the building and put the car in park. "I won't have any issues."

Jill shook the very conversation from her head, not wanting to think about it. She needed to rush through the airport. There was more traffic than she had expected, and she was there a little later than expected.

As Jill approached security, she hummed to herself in surprise, noting that a woman several rows ahead of her had the same bag. Every so often, Jill would find herself searching for the girl to monitor just how long she had been in the queue for. Finally, the girl she had been watching made it to the front of the security line, and Jill watched in fascination as the girl went through the scanner, but her bag didn't. The girl seemed slightly distraught, standing to the side and watching as her bag went back and forth in the x-ray machine before being pulled off the line. Her distress only grew when she was pulled to the side, and Jill understood why.
