Chapter IX

All the executive members were now sitting at Hatters royal suite waiting for Aguni to open the black envelope, when finally he opened it Y/n couldn't quite read his reaction so she just let it go. It wasn't long before the opening of the black envelope ended. Y/n, Chishiya, and Kuina went to Arisu's room to discuss their plan.

"First, Arisu will infiltrate the royal suite. Then he will search for the safe and steal all the playing cards inside." Arisu looked nervous. "What about the passcode?" He questioned, "I have an idea of that. I'll tell you when you're in front of the safe." Chishiya voiced, handing Arisu a walkie talkie.

"You're really cautious, I got it." Arisu understood taking the radio from Chishiya. "Usagi and Kuina will be on the look out. Y/n and I will be watching the ceremony." Chishiya continue telling the plan,

"This is too dangerous, if we're discovered we'll be killed." Usagi nervously said. "That's why we won't." Y/n state at the female,  looking at her crossed arms. "This is the only way to change the current situation." Arisu explained, looking at the short hair girl with worry, "Now that Hatters dead there's no unity at the beach. The time is right for this plan."

Y/n couldn't help but feel the tension between the two, looking at them back and forth.

"The leader has now changed. Hatter is no longer with us. The new leader will be Aguni." Niragi announced inside the lobby. People started to whisper at each other, giving their own opinions on the situation. "How noisy Shut up!" Niragi yelled, silence filled the room.

"It appears that Hatter failed in his game and couldn't return. Through majority vote among the executive members, it has been decided that Aguni will be the new number one. Now let's hear from Aguni. You guys better listen properly." Niragi finished.

"The new leader is making a speech in the lobby. All executive members and militants are at the annex. We won't get another chance like this." Chishiya, speaking through the radio. "We'll let you guys know if there's any changes. I'm counting on you Arisu." He continued which Arisu responded with an Understood.

Then Arisu spoke again through on the other side of the radio, "I found it. So, what's the passcode?"

"It's 8022." Chishiya answered. "Did you see the content of the letter?" The male on the other line asked. "No. But Aguni's expression told me everything. That instant, Aguni's face looked dark. It was as if he was surprised and perplexed. I'm sure the contents must be empty." Chishiya explained.

"Empty? Then what about the passcode you told me?" Arisu sound surprise and confuse. "The wax seal. It was embossed with boss ring and it formed numbers. That was the code itself. It's 8022."
