Ashley's POV

"Where are the boys?" I ask, "Where's Cameron?"

"They're being...taken care of," he says, "They're alright-for now. But, you're the one I want. So, they'll at least be clinging onto life."

"Do we need to do this everytime?" I ask, "You'll let them go, I'll give you what you want."

"See, babe, I have a new tactic," he says.

Jack wheels in some kind of monitor, and sits it in front of me. On each corner of the screen, I see one of my six boys being beat and/or whipped.

"Stop this," I cried, "Right now."

"So you're going to talk?" he asked, and I nodded, "You disobey, or lie, each one gets it. Clear?"

"Crystal," I stutter.

"Where are your parents?" he asks.

"Dead," I say.

"Lies," he says, and each boy gets a lash, "Where are your parents?"

"Dead!" I say, "That's what I was told! Why do you think I don't live with them?"

He nods, "Fine," he says, "Which boy has it? Is it Styles? Payne? Tomlinson? Horan? Malik? Maybe even Teddy?"

"Has what?" I ask, "I don't even know what you're talking about. How am I supposed to answer you truthfully, when I have no idea what you're talking about?"

"Reed, she's telling you the truth," says Jack.

"Shut it, Brewer," demands Reed.

"Well, we're just wasting our time!" calls Jack.

"Fine," says Reed, "We'll do this later, so she can think about her answers. Watch her, Brewer."

"Yes, Sir," says Jack.

Reed walks out, and I start laughing.

"What's so funny?" snaps Jack.

"Why are you even working for him?" I ask, laughing, "It's sad, really."

"What do you mean?" he asks.

"All spies have a price," I say, "Info for freedom."

"Like I'm going to let you go," he says, "Reed will kill me."

"Then let the six boys go. I'll tell you what you need to know, if my boys are released," I say, playing with the ropes discretely.

"I can't," he says.

"Then my lips are sealed," I say, smirking, "It was a ton of info, really. It would've put you on top of Reed. You wouldn't be scared of him-he would be scared of you."

He licks his lips, thinking about this upperhand. Than, he pushes a button in his watch.

"Let 'em go," he says, in a voice perfectly imitating Reed's, "We struck a deal."

They were taken out of the rooms, and I don't know what happened next. "How do I know they're safe?"

He handed me a phone, and I heard Simon on the line.

"Hello?" he asked.

"Simon?" I ask, "Are the boys there?"

"Yeah," he says, "Where are you?"

The line went dead. I sighed in relief, because the boys were safe.

"What did you want to tell me?" he asks.

"That you're dead as a doornail," I say, chuckling, "You just let them go. You're aware of that, right?"

"You tricked me!" he exclaims.

"The stupid deserve to be tricked," I say, shrugging, "Anyway, you gotta do what you gotta do."

"I'm so telling Reed," he says.

"So?" I ask, "You're the one who's dead, anyways. I'll give you an ultimatum. You can let me go, and I'll help you escape, or you can stay here, and be killed. Your choice."

"Why should I trust you?" he hissed.

"You shouldn't," I marveled, "But, I'm you're only chance now, anyway."

"Screw you," he says, about to tap his watch.

"Hasta la vista," I say, "See you on the other side."

He lowers his watch, and throws a mini-bomb at the camera. I slip my hands out, as he undoes my feet.

"I would've gotten out without you," I say, annoyed.

"Ok," he says, far from modestly.

I roll my eyes, and see the vent. I get down on my knees, and start playing with the goddamned screws.

After a minute, I decide to stop, and just bust it in with my boot. I give it a few good kicks, and opens. I smile, and crawl in. Jack followed.

We crawled for a few minutes, until I saw the light leading to the outside vent. I bashed it in, and was about to jump down, when Jack stopped me.

"Let me jump down first, so I can catch you," he said.

"I'm a spy, and a cat," I  said, "I can whip your ass, and always land on my feet."

I jumped down, and guess what? I landed on my feet.

"Hey, Jack!" I yelled up about two stories, "Want me to catch you?"

"I was just trying to be nice!" he claimed, jumping down.

"Where even are we?" I asked, surveying the area.

"About an hour North of where you were," he says, "I got keys to a van."

We got in the van, and he started driving back to Simon's office. I smiled.

Dealt with Reed? Been there, done that...
