𝐨𝐧𝐞 - 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭!

𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 - ₐ ₘₐₜₜ ₛₜᵤᵣₙᵢₒₗₒ ₓ fₑₘ ₒc fₐₙfᵢcₜᵢₒₙ!

erin found herself loading into her rv with 5 other people on a bright sunday morning in the summer.

"are you guys sure about this? like absolutely positive?" she heard lizzy ask, of course lizzy would be the one with doubts.

"of course we are, lizzy. don't be so doubtful about this" dizzy said, throwing his arm around her shoulder.

"dizzy's right liz, this will be fine. we'll have so much fun, and we'll all be together" chris said, loading his bags into the back.

erin looked around to her five friends. matt was sitting in the passengers seat, weirdly enough. chris was sitting on the couch pressed against the side wall as nick flopped down on the half-way made up bed pressed against the back wall. lizzy sighed before climbing onto the bed with nick. dizzy smiled to erin before getting in and sitting next to chris. erin grinned back to him, turning to get into the driver's seat next to matt.

"everyone ready?" matt asked, turning back to the group. 4 yes' were heard, followed by an "i guess" by lizzy.

erin started the car as chris climbed up and connected to the aux. the first song to play was, unsurprisingly, lip gloss by lil mama. everyone laughed along as dizzy and chris started singing the lyrics together. erin was now driving up a hill as matt kept his eyes focused on the road, watching out for any animals for her.

she looked over at him and grinned, she knew he was always a very cautious driver and it meant alot to her that he was looking out for her while she was driving. once he noticed her gaze, he tilted his head over to her.

"take a picture, rin. it'll last longer" he joked. she just smiled and brushed it off.

"where to first?" she asked him.

"first stop, the big apple. new york city!" chris yelled from the back.

"really? we have to go there first?" lizzy asked, everyone knew crowds made her anxious. nick slung an arm around her shoulder, attempting to assure her that they'll all be with her and she'll be fine.

"yes, really lizzy! new york is beautiful" dizzy said.

"it'll be okay, liz! we're all here" nick smiled. lizzy just shrugged and pulled her phone out of her back pocket, putting her attention on it instead of the chaos going on around her.

the oversized van surprisingly fell silent for a few minutes in the back, matt and erin being the only ones chatting out of the six.

"rin, seriously i'll drive if you get tired" he said, looking at her with dead seriousness in his eyes.

"i know you will matt! but i'm fine. trust, i've got this" she said. she didn't have it!

...

around an hour into their 6 hour drive, erin was tired. they pulled over at a pit stop to change seats, matt getting into the driver's and chris getting into the passengers.

erin immediately found herself flopped down on her bed, getting comfortable next to the asleep lizzy. dizzy and nick sat up, talking about something having to do with music but erin couldn't be bothered to pay attention. her eyes made their way around the vehicle, before landing on matt's that were already on hers.

"take a picture matt, it'll last longer" she said, quoting his saying from earlier. he playfully rolled his eyes and put his attention back on the road as she grinned and checked her phone once more before drifting into an unconscious state. to no one's suprise, dizzy and nick were now arguing over music. but guess who didn't care? erin!
