His body wobbled on unstable legs, soon giving in to his own weight. Unconsciousness soon met him, with the last thing Cory heard was Hooper shouting his name. "CORY!" Hooper ran to Cory's body, collecting himself he reached out to Cory's neck with two fingers. "He still has a pulse" Hooper sighed in relief, and let himself bask in that relief for a few moments. Hooper hesitantly took his eyes off Cory and turned his head around, red eyes meeting his. "Ruby... we need to take him back to the foundation." "W-what?" "We can't just hide him away, he was already reclassified to an Apollyon years ago, and now he's caused an XK level event. There's no chance the foundation will simply forget about it like the first time he was classified as an SCP." "But Hooper-" Ruby paused, unsure of a response. He was absolutely right, there was nothing else they could do. The foundation would send out their best resources to contain him. "Alright" Ruby reluctantly responded.
The first thing Cory felt when he woke up was pain. The cold air nipped his face as his body intensely ached, despite his wishes he knew he wouldn't fall back asleep. His lens slowly opened, being met with a stark white ceiling and a bright white light. He slowly sat up, ignoring his body's protests. He was met with a nearly empty room. He was in a small bed in the corner of the room, in front of him there was a white dresser, and a door that was thankfully to a bathroom. His eyes fell on a large containment door with a dreaded symbol in the middle, the SCP foundation's symbol. Despite his unfavorable circumstances, Cory didn't feel the need to breach. "Better locked up and prodded by crazy scientists than stuck with dear old dad" Cory bitterly thought. Which reminded him of his outfit, befitting of a godly tyrant and possibly the last thing he wanted to be in. He stood up and walked to his new dresser and found a change of clothes. There was a pair of socks, baggy dark blue pajama pants, and a white foundation issued pajama shirt with 'SCP 4000' labeled below a foundation symbol on the front and back- small in the corner of the front and completely covering the back. He walked over to the bathroom to change but kept some of his arm bandages on, they were there for a reason after all.
