my head was snuggled deeply in the pebbled texture of jungkook's leather jacket, which radiated the warmth of his body and literally lulled me in and if it wasn't for me to be sat down on his high speeding motorcycle, i could literally doze off right here and there and spend the rest of the morning catching up with the lacking sleep, my body was so desperately craving for.
but that was beyond impossible right now and i was one hundred percent sure that jungkook wouldn't be really fond of the idea either as taking a nap on a rolling bike wasn't the best place, which should be considered suitable for a nap, after all i had to link my arms around his waist to prevent myself from slipping off behind and might end under some other car's tires, that was the least i wanted to happen.
nonetheless, that didn't stop me to admire the scenery of the sea and the sun glistening in its water, that happened to occur only meters away from us while we were pacing down the highway besides the coast, the view was absolutely breathtaking
i inhaled in the fresh, salty smell of the ocean, getting quite of a good dose of the refreshing sea breeze, reminding me that spring was long gone and the summer season had approached, not to mention the blazing morning sun that shone relentlessly on the skin of my face, letting me forget about the fresh breeze that engulfed us while riding the bike.
i actually happened to enjoy this ride to the fullest, i felt all kinds of feelings combined such as exhilaration, fear, relaxation, and pleasure like physical and emotional pleasure, with a tiny layer of anxiety and adrenaline, yes, that's the perfect compatible description.
and the more these feelings flooded my mind, completely engrossing me in those, i didn't even become aware of the position i had slipped in, how my head was resting upon jungkook's back, the sun lights sparkling in my eyes just as they did in the turquoise clear water of the ocean ahead — at this point i'd say i truly was living in the moment and completely blended out everything around me.
but that only lasted, until jungkook would pull to the right, entering some huge parking lot, that seemingly belonged to the little diner nearby and it left me wondering why he would choose this one here, i mean, it were only a few miles left, until we would arrive in busan.
but i decided to not ask him about it and just swallowed down my question that racked my mind, while jungkook was occupied enough to find a suitable parking space for his vehicle, turning off its engine and pulling the key out of its ignition before he would hop off to get rid of his helmet and remove the sweaty locks, that were sticking on his forehead and sheltered most parts of it.
