How... NOT to date a guy.

It's a date.

I walked back the next morning with Charlie and stopped at the coffee stand. I was waiting in line anxiously to see if that number was really for me.

"Stop stressing" Charls giggled.

"I'm not stressing." I replied.

"Yes, you are. You're playing with your nail beds." She whispered. I looked down and noticed my finger, picking away at my thumb. Dammit woman! "You are up next, don't screw up my order and be confident like you were yesterday" She nudge me pushing me up to the counter.

"Um hi." I replied with a shy smile.

"Hey, the chick from yesterday, Large double choc Mocha for you right?" He said grabbing a large take away cup.

I nodded, bit surprised that he remembered that.

"And a large double shot caramel latte for your pretty little friend over there?" He asked again grabbing another large take away cup.

"Uh yes please. Wow you have a good memory." I said.

"Well for a stunning girl like you, one shouldn't forget." He winked at me, while starting up the coffee machine. He poured the syrups twisting each cup as he poured it down the sides. I blushed, and hard. I doubt I hid it very well. "My names Oliver."

"I'm Maddi. Thats Charlie over there." I replied.

"Well nice to meet you Maddi. Here are your coffees and the total is six dollars fifty."

I handed him the money and took our drinks. We said good bye and Charlie and Myself started walking towards uni.

"Well, that went well. He called you stunning!" Charls exclaimed.

"Yeah I know. I wasn't too sure on what to say though. I don't think I've ever had a guy call me stunning before."

"Take it girl PLUS he left his number again." She sang giggling afterwards.

No way! Well that's awesome I thought to myself. I smiled and couldn't stop smiling like that for the rest of the day.

Matthew, Charlie and Myself were sitting at the local restaurant waiting for our meals.

"So have you called him yet?" Matt asked.

"No, Charlie said I needed to wait two days before I could call."I replied.

"It's so she doesn't look desperate." Charls chuckled.

"Ah ok, so you are baiting him and then making him wait? What a way to a guys heart." Matthew replied with a dead panned look.
