*June 26th, 2012*
School was finally over. No more dumb books, annoying teachers, or pointless drama. No more filling out applications and going to interviews for college. They had already decided. Layla and Jacob had both already been accepted to the college of their dreams. They were finally going to be living the life that they had been wanting to live for a long time. And the best part? Well, the best part was that they could live out their dreams together.
They had been dating for exactly seven months. They first got together on November 26th of 2010. That was towards the middle of their junior year in high school. They had also been bestfriends for years before that, ever since the third grade. They had done everything together since then. They seemed to be the perfect couple and they were practically joined at the hip. They have never faught over anything serious and have never let anyone come between them. Their families also get along very well, which is a definate bonus.
Jacob was every girl's dream. He had the looks, the brain, and the manners. He got very good grades, mostly A's with the occasional B's. He always respected women and treated them as equals and normally got along with the fathers of the girls. He was also very sweet and caring. He would do anything for the people he cares about.
Layla was very shy. She was considered the 'adorable nerd' because she would much rather curl up and read a good book than go out and party. She also got good grades and was very pretty. She was very caring towards most things in life, especially animals. They were her weakness. When her first dog died when she was eight, she cried for almost a whole week and she has not cried that much since.
They were going to leave for college in about a month so that they would have time for goodbyes and last minute hang-outs with friends before they leave. They were going to go from a small town in Massachusetts, to the big city of New York. It would be a big change, but for them it would be worth it.
