Art by me! The girl is meant to represent Y/N but I drew the OC I wanna use for the story there. Also I can draw so much better than this I swear.

"Everyone Congratulate the new champion of Alola!" Professor Kukui yelled out, grabbing my wrist and lifting it up. There was a loud round of applause below from the wooden platform I was standing on. I couldn't see who was in the crowd due to the torches burning brightly and messing up my vision, though I could tell there was a lot of people. They've all gathered to Iki town to celebrate me becoming the champion. I couldn't be happier. "Well then, let's celebrate!" Kukui yelled, hopping off the platform. He urged I go and talk with everyone and celebrate with them so I hopped off after him. The rest of the night was spent hanging out and eating with Hau and Lillie while people would come to me and congratulate me becoming the champion. A lot of people asked what I was going to do now that I was a champion and, to be honest, I wasn't really sure. I also spotted a few team skull grunts at the celebration but I didn't think much of it. They were probably just here for the food..

It was really late and I just arrived home. I would call my mother and tell her I became the champion of Alola but I was exhausted. I placed my tote bag with all my items and pokeballs on the floor next to my bed. I couldn't even be bothered to change into PJ's and I just threw myself onto my bed and fell asleep soon after.

My eyes flutter open as a cool breeze brushes against my face. My window was open and the morning wind was making its way into my room.

Mmm.. I don't remember my window being open last night. But yet again I was so tired.

I wanted to go out with my pokemon today. Afterall, I wouldn't be the champion without them. I remember from the moment I chose my starter to the final moments of the champion battle and even the moments of the island challenge in between, my pokemon has gotten me through everything. I had built a massive bond with my team. I went to go pick up my tote bag to let my pokemon out but..

"Huh..? Where's my bag?" My bag wasn't there. In it's place was a note. It read..

Good-job becoming the champion! If you want your pokemon back,

go to the top floor of the mansion in Po town. We can discuss more there.

What the hell!? Did someone seriously break into my room and take my pokemon? Since they want me to meet in Po town, it was 100% team skull. I don't understand why they would take my pokemon though. I'm sure Guzma wouldn't go as far as to steal someone's entire team just to have a chat, even if that's what team skull does. Steal pokemon. There was surely something else he wanted.. I left my house and used my ride pager to fly over to Po town. I entered the enclosed town. This is so weird by the way, how the hell does it rain in here while it's sunny outside? And who in Arceus' name decided to build a town that's closed off? I enter the mansion and could feel all of the grunts eyeing me.

Oh look.. It's the Champion. Imagine actually doing the island challenge.."

"Why the hell is she in here?"

"Isn't that Y/N? I wouldn't wanna pick a fight with her now that she's Champion..."

Ugh. I could hear them all gossiping about me while I walked up the stairs onto the second floor. The team skull grunt guarding Guzma's room immediately let me in. Seems they were expecting me. I walk along the roof of the mansion and enter through the window into Guzma's room. He was sitting comfortably on the purple sofa in the middle of the space. He was holding my tote bag up like he was mocking me.

"Give me back my pokemon." I demanded. He just chuckled at me and glared into my eyes.

"How about..." He paused. "We make a deal. I'll give you these back IF you do me a deed."

The hell!?!? He takes my pokemon and wants to trade If I want them back?

"No! You really think I'm gonna do that? Just give me my pokemon back!" I say through gritted teeth.

Guzma laughed again. "Oh Y/N.. If you don't do what I want you to do then I, Big bad Guzma, will just keep your pokemon!" He stated, opening my bag and looking inside. "If you became champion with this team, then it must be hella good..."

"Fine!" I yell, giving in. "What do you need?"

"Heh.. I read this research article of unfamilliar and new pokemon in a different region. Paldea or something. They're found in a big crater in the middle of the place and I heard the pokemon are super powerful yo." Guzma would say, grinning widely. "Get me one. I don't care which but as long as it looks strong."

I didn't know what to say. I just stared at Guzma worringly. He seriously wants me to travel to a different region to catch some strong pokemon?! Alola has strong pokemon too!

"Y/N? Deal? Yah or Nah?" Guzma asked, trying to get me to give him an answer quickly.

"...Fine." I muttered. Guzma stood up from his chair and walked over to me, giving me a suitcase.

"Cool, knew you'd say yes eventually. I actually enrolled you to a school there so you could live undercover or something like that. They were more than happy to have an Alolan champion attend their school cus they immediately accepted, heh." He explained. "You could learn too I guess.. Anyways this suitcase has the uniform and hat and stuff you need for the school. Pack other stuff too if you wanna."

"Wait what?"

"You deaf? You can find me my pokemon while you attend school there."

"I know, I know! I heard you." I stated. I was just a bit shocked that Guzma enrolled me in a school without me knowing, and the school accepted straight away? And also I leave tomorrow??? He really wants that pokemon as soon as possible. Whatever. I grabbed the suitcase and left to go home. I might as well start packing now.

"Oh sweetie, You're attending a school in Paldea now?"

"Mhm." I reply to the phone. The first thing I did when I got home was call my mother telling her I became Alolan Champion and now I was going to Paldea for school. She was ecstatic that I completed the island challenge and was now getting good education. I didn't tell her about Guzma though. I didn't want her to worry.

"Ohh Y/N. I'm so proud of you! I'm so glad I have a daughter like you.." She'd say. I just smiled back while staring at my phone. My mother was on the screen with a bunch of medical equipment in the background.

"Anyways mum, I gotta pack up. I leave tomorrow." I tell her.

"Oh, so soon? You became champion yesterday and now you're already going to the school? You must be committed."

"Yeah, I heard the school's really good."

"Naranja acadamy right? I've heard they're good too. Good luck on your studies Y/N!"

"Thanks mum! Get well soon, bye!" I say before hanging up the phone. I head into my room and take a deep breath in before I start packing to Paldea.
