Y/n pov

Sitting at my desk, Enid asks me, "we're getting a new roommate today, right?" Oh yeah, the new girl, I wonder what she's like. A knock on the door, I opened and there stood the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, I realised I had stood there saying nothing, so I let her in. "Speak of the devil, there's your side of the room. I'm Enid" Enid pointed. Um, hi, I stumbled out. "Wednesday" the girl said, Wednesday, the name suited her. Wednesday's child is full of woe, I said. A nursery rhyme. "Yes, my mother's favourite rhyme" she said as she went to unpack.

I turned around and looked at Enid blushing, she smirked, "do you have a little crush?" She asked playfully, I mouthed for her to shut up and went back to my desk. I heard a typewriter machine, I turned around to see Wednesday calmly writing for what I think was a book. "Turn around, I don't like to be watched." She demanded, I quickly turned back. "What's your name?" She asked calmly. Y/n, I said. "I like that for you, it's pretty." Thanks, I smiled. It's late, I'm gonna go to bed, I said. "Good night" they both said, good night, I whispered before I lay my head on my soft and cool pillow.

Wednesday pov

I knocked on the door, in a few seconds i saw de doorknob turn and a girl opened. She stood there for a while, until someone else came to the door. She looked straight out op the my little pony series. She opened the door and let me in, "there's your side of the room" she said. The girl next to her still stood there, "um, hi" she said. She didn't look dorky, she was kinda hot. I quickly walked away so she didn't see me blush, Wednesday, was all I could get out. Not Wednesday is my name, no. Just Wednesday.

She recited the nursery rhyme my name came from, her voice was so soothing. As I was writing I felt eyes I'm my back, I didn't turn around, she would see me blush. Turn around,  I said, hoping she wouldn't listen. I don't like to be watched. I heard her turn, what's your name? I asked, "Y/n" she answered softly. Such an elegant name, it suited her perfectly. "It's late, I'm gonna go to bed" she said. Good night, i answered.
