we finally arrived at beccas house. the traffic was horrendous. nick insisted that we went to beccas house as we hadnt in a while. i was happy because you know, beccas my friend too!! ..
as soon as i saw becca open the door i felt a grin appear on my face, nick hugged her as usual and so did i.. i never usually hugged her when greeting her, but it felt right. she hugged me back so it was okay. something changed about her .. or maybe about me. i mean, ive always had a little crush on her and nobody has known, but recently my brothers have started to notice. i dont know whats happening to me right now ,but im deciding to ignore it as, obviously, i am stood right by the girl im thinking about right now .. we all sat down me, becs and chris on the middle couch, nick on the comforter and beccas dog on the couch to my right. on the couch was chris on the left, becs in the middle and me on the right. we always sit like this in her house. becs and nick are talking, as they are both the blabbers of the group, while me and chris are on our phones. chris is scrolling on insta, and i am on tiktok. becca went silent for a second then slapped mine and chris' knees "LETS PLAY TRUTH OR DARE" she yells at the top of her voice, as usual. "fine" i look at her as chris nods his head.
"truth or dare" nick asks me "truth" i say without hesitation "do you like anyone in this room" he smirks i know exactly what hes doing as bec is the only girl in the room. "nick." i give him a death glare "give up already, no." i respond he rolls his eyes and chris laughs at my cold tone "cmonn you do" becca laughs and so does everyone else well, i do, but they dont have to know. they are starting to figure it out. i have to be more cautious "NO GO AWAY" i say and go to the kitchen to grab some water out of her fridge. "okay now becca." nick said turning to becca with a grin "i pick.. truth" she hesitated "HA, okay whats something you love in a guy" he said instantly looking at me. i give him a confused look, cuz why is he looking at me right now? "ummm, well i guess i like guys who wear rings?" she replies suddenly nicks eyes fall to my hands.. i am infact wearing rings.. "so you like matt" nick blurts out and i turn to him unimpressed "wtf no? i just love it when guys wear rings." she yells with a frown chris and nick laugh while me and becs sit with our arms crossed and frowns. "this is just not fun anymore, you are so annoying NICK" i look at the boy sitting on the comforter chuckling. he continues laughing and i go on my phone
we are all on our phones and i see bec start to fall asleep "wake up or you will fall asleep on my shoulder again" i say laughing "shut up im going to bed" she mutters and tells us all goodnight. we all decide to sleep on the couches as its pretty late and i dont really want to drive.
