Return to me ; chapt.1

A tall male was staring at a colorful picture on his dusty brown desk, his yellow eyes not showing any emotions. Unsure of what to do next he just stared until he couldn't anymore. The pain was taking control of him, taking control until someone was calling.

"Rui-Kun, are you alright?! Me and Tsukasa-kun were worried!", Said a squeaky female voice on the other end. "Emu...Don't worry about me, I'm fine.", replied Rui, knowing perfectly well he lied. Emu and Tsukasa did everything they could during this hard time to make Rui feel better. "Are you sure? Could I and Tsukasa-kun come over for a while?" Emu suggested, kind of worried. "Of course, you can", did he really want them over? He wasn't sure. Ever since Nene disappeared everything felt empty. "Ok, see you then!", she cheerfully replied, happy to hear Rui wasnt completely gone. "See you!", he said, ending the call.

5 years ago, their friend, Rui's childhood friend. Kusanagi Nene had went missing. Ruis's emotions were gone. Wonderlands x Showtime had to be held on hiatus until they found Nene. Nothing would be the same without her and Rui's life could never be the same without Nene. If it was anything, he wanted her back. He wanted his dear friend back, the girl who enjoyed his childhood with.

A few minutes later the doorbell rung, and Rui heard his mother shout from down stairs : "Rui! Emu-chan and Tsukasa-kun are here!". "Ok" he replied, not feeling much.

Suddenly, he heard a knock. "Come in" he said calmly, hiding the picture under his desk. Emu and Tsukasa entered Rui's room, the pink haired girl sat on Rui's neat bed whilst Tsukasa sat on the floor with a strange bag in his hands. "Here, me and Emu thought it would be nice to bring some snacks. Your mum told us that you hadn't eaten anything today, go on, eat up." Tsukasa had said in a concerned voice , eyeing Rui for a reaction. "Rui-Kun, I know it's been a long time but I'm sure Nene-chan will come back, if she doesn't then we will just have to find her ourselves.." Emu said, her squeaky voice dropping a bit as she looked at Rui. Tears started to roll down his face as he held the picture tightly.
