chapter one

George POV:

I woke up, knowing it's another boring day.Well at least I'll finish the book I hate today.I always loved books.As a kid,I always told my parents to get me books for present.Books for me was like a home.A thing that could make my forget the reality and go to my own world.

i stood up from my bed and I dressed in more 'pRiNcElY' clothes.I never wanted to be a prince.I wanted to be a normal teenager like the others.But sadly I couldn't.

I opened the door of my room and i walked to the castle library.It was really big you could easily get lost.I grabbed my book and got out of the castle, in the yard.It was very big and beautiful, it had many flowers, a fountain in the middle, trees and benches.I sat on one of the benches that had shade and continued to read my book calmly.

Suddenly a maid appeared from somewhere "Prince george your parents are calling you" i looked up at her confused.They remembered my existence? "Oh okay thank you" i smiled and she smiled back while turning her back and leaving.

I got up from my bench while making my way back inside to the castle.What do they want me for? Did they invite guests? I guess today will not be like any other day.As i entered the room, my dad smiled warmly.Oh no.I hate that smile. "Hello my Prince.Look how you grow up" I sat in my chair and looked at my father or the 'king' "hello  father it's great to see you again.Do you want my help with something?" he looked at my mother and his smile dropped.

"Look son.I know you wont like what im going to say but this is for your good." As a response i nodded and he sighed "you are getting married with the princess of the kingdom of Melupolis, princess Eva." my eyes widened.

He knew Eva was my only friend as a kid!I never liked her!.Well i never fell i love but why her!! I know I can't scream at my father but i couldn't take it.

"DAD!!! YOU KNOW SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND SINCE WE WERE LITTLE KIDS!!OH WAIT NOT BEST FRIEND MY ONLY FRIEND I EVER HAD!I CANT RUIN MY ONLY FRIENDSHIP FOR OUR STUPID KINGDOM!" I jumped out of my said angrily knowing this won't end well.My dad angrily jumped out of his sit as well "WATCH YOUR MOUTH LITTLE PRINCE!WE ARE DOING THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!YOU WILL BECOME A KING SOMEDAY! YOU CAN'T BE WITHOUT A WIFE BY YOUR SIDE! THAT'S WHY WE THOUGHT TO FIND YOU OURSELVES"

I stared at him in shock and anger "WELL I COULDN'T FIND A WIFE BECAUSE YOU NEVER LET ME GO OUTSIDE!" tears began to flow from my eyes, my dad sighed as his face softened "look son im sorry for ruining your childhood but you have to understand.Everyone knows that you are a prince.Theres people that hate you of course they will try to kill you."i ran to my room quickly and fell on my bed crying.

I couldn't look at my father anymore.I can't believe them.I am not ready to be married and im not ready to rule the kingdom.Im only 17 soon 18 i understand but this is too soon for me.I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" i said while sniffing "hey honey its me" my mom said while entering the room and forming a warm smile at her face "i understand that you don't want to get married.But me and your father are doing it for your own good. You're 17 soon to be 18. You can't sit inside until you're 60 reading your books.You have to rule our kingdom one day.

I know you are not ready but listen sweety okay?.Their family are coming in 2 days so i want you to practice your manners you saw how you spoke to your father today hmm?I don't want any trouble.Your marriage is in four months so you don't have to stress that much" she said while kissing my forehead "okay" she walked to the door and looked

At me for a last time "go finish your book i know we interrupted you" and closed the door.

Hey!!so this is the first chapter!i hope you liked it.I know its kinda short but i will try and make it longer next time i just didn't have time to finish!!
