right now, im at MJs. the guy at the front desk, Mikel, just arrived for his shift.

"kaaaai" he said. he's gay and my only "friend" here.

"hey mike" i said. he had on a flower crown and a pikachu choker from ShopJeen. his hair is pink at the top and yellow on the rest. like pink lemonade.

"so, theres this new guy in my aparment complex. he is so woo. his name is Josè." he says. Mikel is always talking about some guys.

"oh, really." i sat next to him in a chair.

"yeah. when are you ginna get a man girl. you need some di-" he starts before i cut him off.

"shut up, Mikel. im will find the right guy one day." i defend myself. hes always telling me i "need" a man.

"anyways, i am enjoying your eyeshadow today, kai. what'd you use?" he compliments.

" naked 3." i said. he nods and i see my kids come in. they're dressed comfortably and ready to dance their butts off. the first one i see is Harlie. if i had to choose a favorite, she would be it. she so attentive and always on time for class. shes in 8th grade with blonde hair and blue eyes.

" hey miss kai " Harlie says. i wave at her and she scurries into the studio with the rest of the dancers.

"ok, dancers, today we will start learning the dance to Tinashe's ' 2 on' its quite complicated, but im sure you can do it." i started. it took me four weeks to learn this dance. it may take the kids longer. we have until September to learn it and its May.

"we have until September to learn this dance because we're performing it at the Fall Dance-off against Mary's Dance Academy."

the girls groaned and moaned because we can never beat Mary's. they've beaten us two years in a row.

" miss kai, theres no reason to learn a new dance, they're gonna beat us anyway." emileigh said.
